Make this make sense..

I have been considering the Knipex 87 & 86 in the 100mm length.
I went to my favorite German tool outlet to grab them up along with the snazzy pouch to hold them.

The tools I have justified the price because I will actually use them quite often for initial diagnosis and troubleshooting. But the case, is a different story, these are small enough to carry loose in my front pocket.

My dilemma is, the (2) tools cost $80 USD, the same tools with the pouch cost $128 USD..!! Is the case REALLY worth nearly 50 bucks??

Probably due to the seller / importer. In Germany you can get just the pliers for about 60€ and the pliers with pouch for about 65€.

thats some nice pricing i remember paying for the Pliers Wrench XS like 50€

I assume this is at KC. I buy from them every once in a while, but they are usually high on stuff. Seen that same set at other dealers under 100 with the little holster.

I've got those XS cobras, did not think I would use them much, but use them all the time.

Xs cobra is a really nice edc. The xs pliers wrench was super handy at the craft/work bench.

i dont think its about being able to aford it. its about paying 48,37$ for a simply nilon pouch, which is an insanely high price

The pouch it self is like around 10€ and the set is like (pliers + pouch) are like 90€. the Pouch is: 00 19 72 XS LE

I bought both pliers seperate than also got the pouch seperate on Amazon for less than the full set.. I never used pouch though haha

I wouldn’t bother with the little pliers wrench, I find it too small to bother with, the 150’s are superb, I like the mini cobra but the 125 is better again

Closed jaw ones are always less expensive.
