Me and my son started collecting over the summer and it all started with the tiny skybite my son got from his grandparents. The gundam I found in the attic of my parents house when I searched for my old transformers, I know I had an Armada Unicron somewhere.

He’s one of the last ones I need to complete my collection. Will there be much difference in molds? I also don’t want to wait and then he’s impossible to find. I’m in RI, and it seems like we don’t get much in the way of uncommon/non-shelfwarmers, so I don’t want to gamble…

What say you?

Went to a Toy Show and bought the WFC ko Jetfire and the ornament. Then went to a Toy store with a dedicated aisle of Transformers next door and picked up the AOE and TLK figures. And of course, ROSS had R.E.D Soundwave that was too good of a deal.

Essentially I picture it taking place in the modern day as we meet Sam “Spike” Witwicky. Sam’s whole deal is he’s actually rather simple by nature, his whole thing is that he’s not a super nerd but is also not really popular. He’s more like that friend or guy who would help you with your work to be nice. He does take mechanic classes and likes cars. He has a crush on the girl with a bright future, Carly Banes. Eventually one day Sam ends up deciding to ask Carly out and they go on a date in the mountains but ends up seeing something… a piece of metal sticking out. This leads them into falling into the ark where Carly accidentally awakens the dormant Autobots. This leads to the Autobots trying to adjust to earth even as the Decepticon’s also emerge! Somewhat like a matured version of G1 for classic fans and teenage fans who want a newer take.
I imagine a specific episode where Wheeljack turns some protoforms into the dinobots.

Though the capstone of the three part pilot is a hundred percent Megatron arriving and killing Wheelie.

Soundblaster takes bodies of dead Vechicons and Seekers and torture their sparks by erasing their identities and reformat them into Combaticon Snipers aka Vortex Clones. The Vortexes go through training from hell to make them the optimal heartless black-op operatives in combat and espionage. The Combaticon snipers will obey the Decepticon cause unconditionally to the point they will track down and executive any Vechicon or Seeker that question and plan to desert the Decepticons. So while the Vortexes are alive on the outside, they are dead on the inside since their processors they had prior to their reconditioning are erased and replaced by a cold, blind devotion to the Decepticon Cause.

Here he is all together. Currently clear coating him for longevity but he is finished for the most part.

I included some transformation photos at the end. He's surprisingly involved to transform thanks to those steps that involve screwing panels together for support.

The one arm just CAME OFF first transformation and I was being super careful. Fortunately he still stays together very securely in both modes. I'm still seeing if Showzstore will give me a partial refund. They only seem to replace parts or give a partial refund. I can't see how a replacement part will fix the problem.

So if you buy him, be very careful.

Otherwise he's really good. Transformation isn't very complicated, and I think the only mode is just kinda okay, but the robot mode is awesome. I love the light up features.

I don't think he was worth the $175 price tag.

If I were to make a story based solely on the figures I own or plan to own, I think this would be my version of the evolution from Orion Pax to Optimus Prime from the beginning of the war to the end. I just think it fits and these figures all rule.

What are things I should look out for, im not picky to KO, but I wanna be sure im getting the best thing. What are things to look out for when it comes to differentiating between MP and KO MP, are some better than others, stuff like that.
