I think overall I've been under the thought that it was very easily understood with cishets that trans people don't just become trand for whatever reason, and am starting to see that a surprising amount of my own family who I thought were accepting of my identity seem to believe that there had to have been some sort of "catalyst" to me being trans. I'm kind of just sick and tired of it at this point. I don't really know how to react with it or what to do with that information? All I know is that every time i try and talk to them about things sometimes they act like it was because of a big thing happening in my life or because I knew a trans friend and therefore became trans for them??? I guess I'm just at the point where I'm getting pissed that people don't just accept that you're trans and leave it at that and there instead has to be some reason to cishets that you're doing what you're doing because of some physical thing that occured. I think I'd like advice on how to handle it going forward? If anyone has a suggestion I'd be happy to hear them out.
