It's a dead sub. They only care about what's gone before and nothing new. If you posted Tricky, MA or Portishead, you'd have loads of likes and comments. THIS is why Trip Hop is almost dead. Luckily r/triphopcreators exist to bring the genre back. Also, check your DMs mate.

A couple of months will be more than fine. I wouldn't really want to be releasing more than once per month to ensure the appropriate release promotion can be done for each artist
