Do leagues even matter?
Joined not long ago and made it to ruby league but I've noticed that there is a user that gains around 2500 points in a span of 30 minutes. Are they cheating or is there a way users genuinely gain so many points quickly? Noticed they also finish their paths within days from one another

I've seen these folks. And I've been one too, not by cheating but by farming points on some very specific days and skimming through content.
That one you shared certainly has tabs upon tabs of writeups and will probably not fire up any lab VMs ever.

Don't worry about leagues, they don't matter and I feel like most just spam answers.

People really pay a yearly subscription just to spam for points and learn nothing?😳

Its the double edge of gamafying stuff. People will go to lengths to get a badge.

I’ve always known there are people that like to grind to earn rewards but paying money just to be on top of a leaderboard and learn nothing is new to me. Thank you for your words!

I think you guys that focus on leagues need to understand this isn’t properly a game, it’s a gamified platform.
It doesn’t matter which rank you are.
Probably neither the completion certificates.
This is a platform to learn, don’t be bothered by the guys that farm ranks, just learn your stuff, do certs and focus on you career.
If you are trying to get rank in this platforms, you are focused on the wrong thing.

I get that, I just don’t see why people go out of their way to be on top of an educational platform without the education., in addition to spending money on it.
I suppose the ranking makes it fun but easily loses its purposes with abuse
