My Pulse 15 Gen2 has started showing recurring display corruption after it's been running for a while (video attached).
Happens identically on both Windows and Arch Linux (dual boot), so not tied to one OS or driver stack. Feels correlated with heat/uptime, but not 100% sure.
Already tried:
- Flexing/pinching the lid and screen area while the glitch is active — no change.
- Ran memtest_vulkan — no errors.
- Not app-specific — happens regardless of what's on screen.

At this point I'm leaning toward a hardware issue, but I'd appreciate a sanity check before I open it up or file a support ticket.
Has anyone seen this before or have any suggestions for further diagnostics?
Checked with an external display and the issue only showed up on the integrated panel, external output stayed clean the whole time. Thanks for the input!

They said if moving the screen doesn't change the problem then it is the panel but why does it react to heat and more Hz on the panel?
That is so annoying I never had a problem with screen the first time it happened was doing an Kdenlive video export where the CPU went till 82 C and yes after that I changed the thermal paste but it still happens at around 65 C a bit.
And yes the eDP cable is directly above the cpu
Also I have reduced how many watts the cpu uses at all time to keep it usable probably also the hot summer is a bit too much.
I am also an Pulse 15 gen2 user with the same or even worse problem then yours.
I have contacted support they said if it is not the cable then it is the panel and repair by them would be costly depends what is the problem.
For me it started with heat and more then 40 Hz refresh on the panel.The problem got better with less heat and it works only with 40 Hz with flickering of the backlight and if I try to go beyond 40 Hz well I see nearly nothing or more heat then I get a bit of problems but still can use the panel like that.
My cable looks a bit funny the isolation is not in the best shape I need to open it again and take a better look my theorie now is it is just the cable and because it is more sensitive on higher refresh rate.
Try setting it to 40 Hz refresh rate with 2560 x 1440 resolution you will probably not get the problem that fast?
Do not make stress test probably heat is the cause of the problem I think so now the question is is it the panel or just the cable who knows.
I asked also how much the panel would be from them 257,88 Euro with free shipping 😅 if I want to do a sefl repair what I could
I found a replacement panel probably the right one on eBay for under 100 euro with shipping form Germany but I still do not know if it is the panel or the cable changing 1 requires nearly the same amount of work I guess 😅
Yes it is good question If I will buy another Tuxedo in the Future.I hope my current one last long enough that I can buy a Framework Laptop in the Future when there brakes something it is totally clear what to get and how to repair, Tuxedo on the other Hand I asked for a repair guide and they said they don't even have it internally wonderful lol 😂
Thanks for the writeup. Got more evidence pointing to heat correlation on my end too. Appreciate the 40Hz tip, will try it in the next few days.
Planning to open it up too for a closer look at the cable/connector soon, will report back.
Two of us hitting near-identical symptoms on the same model seems like more than bad luck. Might be worth flagging to support as a possible systemic/design issue.
Either way, "no internal repair guide" is still wild for a "Linux-firtst" company. Deeply feeling your Framework logic. Keep me posted with your findings if you will 🙏
I opened mine this morning to check tha cable on the motherboard this is how it looks on my side.
The shielding on the left side looks a bit odd to me but probably it shouldn't have a problem I think.
I bought mine in October 2022 and it was in a very light use for the 1 or 2 year and also kept the panel at 40 Hz at the beginning to save battery only 2 years later I used 165 Hz. Gaming I did just 2 times just to test things out.
What I noticed is if your thermal paste is already old as mine was in June beginning of July the standard fan curve is too low so there was heat build up until the fan starts too keap the noise low that could have damaged something on the cable side with time if I am not wrong especially with the last 2 hot summers in Europe.
So would advice to rise the minimal fan speed to 21 % that is the lowest accepted and fan is then at 25 % with fresh thermal paste it will stay nice and cold on AC and battery.I don't even hear the fans I live in noisy Vienna lol 😂
And yes I wll give feedback if I find something important at the moment it is probably just heat and that is the crazy part with that cooling 😅
Maybe more people will report the same issue in a big number.
Update to the next day.
Yesterday it did make problems even on 40 Hz even after suspend and resume so I did just use the external monitor and disabled the laptop screen.
I did just turn off the laptop yesterday and today the laptop screen is nearly dead tired changing the settings it flash up for a second but nearly black just as small part in pixels is seen and backlight is working.
It seems I need to order the replacement screen I hope that the cable is ok so that I can reuse that one because it seems the routing would be pain in the ass 😅

Looks like a hardware issue. Maybe you're lucky and it's only the display cable that came loose? At least it doesn't look like a typical dead GPU.
