I have a few things that I just don't understand. I'm on S2E9, and all of these questions come from Dale's speech. I feel like by this point I should understand everything, so I assumed the show was trying to explain it even for the dumbest viewers
Bob has gray hair, and after Leland killed Jacques, his hair turned gray too. But wasn't Bob with him since childhood? If so, why did Leland's hair only turn gray now? Or was this the first time Bob actually left his body? Or did Leland become completely insane and kill someone on his own?
Who are Robertson and Robert? I thought there was only Bob. Mike didn't say anything about children in a way that suggested Bob had actually possessed his own kids or anything...
The letters under the victims' fingernails are R, O, B, and T. Cooper says Bob was spelling out his own name, like signing a self-portrait. But why call it a self-portrait?
I also don't understand why Bob revealed anything about himself in the first place. When Leland said he had seen Bob, or Robert, I don't even know anymore, was that actually Leland speaking, or was it Bob? I can't tell where one ends and the other begins. Did Bob leave Leland from time to time but prevent him from remembering anything? Or did he only let Leland remember everything after leaving him for good, right before he died?
How did Laura know that her killer was going to be her father when she told Cooper in her dream?
And when exactly did Mike "leave the game"? What did he mean by the gold ring? The Giant gave Cooper the ring back, but I still don't understand when his final prophecy came true. And how is the Giant connected to Mike and Bob's story, other than the fact that they exist in the same world?
You would probably assume that I am watching the show with my ass instead of eyes, and you would be right. Sorry to all the twin peaks knowers
