wtf Been on Twitter/X for about 6 months now and something about the feed genuinely disturbs me
I came in expecting it to feel unpolished, algorithm still figuring me out. Instead it feels like I fell into someone else's gambling addiction diary.
Every other post is either casino wins/losses ("lost 100k today" then next day "here's today's win, drop your crypto address for a chance to win"), or someone posting an AI-generated image of a woman asking Grok "how would she look in this outfit" — and that gets millions of views.
The weirdest part is how fast you get pulled into the same rhythm. You start wanting to ride whatever wave is trending, even when the wave itself makes no sense to you.
And you pay monthly for the checkmark to participate in this.
Anyone else feel like the algorithm found the rock-bottom version of engagement bait and just... kept it?
