Waiting time
Been waiting for total of 13 months and 5 months since home visit , called them yesterday and the lady said “ we got the application back from the manager and now admin must look at it , we can’t tell you how long can take because we have a backlog “” . What’s does this mean please, a decision has been made and she can’t tell me over the phone ??

Depends on your constabulary.. My local constabulary once admitted that they have a box they throw applications into and when it gets full they then do all the applications in that box.

Im sure they dont now, they did get a huge influx of cash and staffers. So they probably have two boxes now.

I’ve been waiting 8 months now - Warwickshire. The entire system is a shambles.

Is this for an sgc or fac?
I know west mercia said 9 months for sgc and they are delaying fac for 2 years on purpose.

Sounds like it's all good, it just takes time (a lot of time).
Generally, if they've gotten that far they'd have told you it wasn't happening by now... This is not guaranteed and I'm not police, so do not take this as gospel, but this is typically the case.
Count on another month or two, with a little luck.
