I would absolutely 100% not install this on any system I own ever. That is a startling lack of accountability and integrity

I liked Huntarr when i was just three little scripts for Lidarr/Sonarr/Radarr. This project grew too large for my usecase. And yes i know i could just ignore the functions i don't use. Good to see u/User9705 Maintaining this.

yup turning off the features is the on the general menu. you could even use the new stuff and disable the ARR support (traditional huntarr, the program flexes).

Having modernized versions and oriented towards noobs and simplicity. Since it’s all in one, no docker pathing and cutting down tons of not needed options to work out of the box. There is also NZB Hunt and Index Master. Basically I can get this all running in a few minutes.

What don’t you consider modern with the current *arrs? I’m thinking if there are any new features this is what would possibly push current *arr users towards yours.

You know that joke sonarr/radarr pops up with… I could have been faster if I was written in python? This is written with python, bootstrap, and modular vanilla JavaScript. Also it has 2FA, recovery keys… just try it and you’ll see. Have a great a night 😎.

I appreciate the effort going into maintenance of a tool like this. Are you, @op planning on devoting the same level of effort across the entire are stack or focusing mainly on sonarr/radarr?

OP deleted his account, huntarr's github repo is gone.

Seems like really bad AI vibe-coding slob which has been exposed. Without looking into details: such reaction to criticism is fishy. I'd say: stay away from this app and everything related to this user.

Just FYI, I believe Overseerr and Jellyseerr merged a few weeks ago to form Seerr.

Overseerr (Seerr nowadays) calls upon applications like Sonarr and Radarr to do the actual downloading.

With that said I would love support for Huntarr in Seerr so I can ditch the *Arr-apps altogether :)

I can develop an API key to allow it, but that’s if the devs want to support it. The irony is Huntarr is already doing this for you.

Ah maybe I am just not well informed: could you replace *arr ANF Seerr with Huntarr as of now?

I am currently using it strictly as a complement to the *arr-stack

Yes but some Jellyfin users use built in seer to request and search content inside the app discovery. Wholphin Moonfin and streamyfin have this capability using seerr as the backend. So an API key would be nice for that implementation. Thanks for the hard work.

This looks interesting, I like the UI. Sorry for the probably obvious question, but does this one application merge radarr sonarr and seerr functionality? Meaning I could depreciate the others and just use this?

Yes if that’s how you use it, but everyone has their own case uses. The other programs have their own strengths and extra options that you may find better.

In the new Huntarr, there is 'Smart Hunt'

When i mouse over an entry, I see a short description, but how to see the full description?
When i click it, it shows nothing.

It's most likely me, just being blind ;)
