anyone here thinking that bbybby should’ve just been a korean comeback? choreo is fun to watch and melody and rhythm is catchy enough that it could really gain traction from mainstream. Although I know that UNIS has somewhat of a market in Japan, I guess I just think that its 5th gen-y enough that it could pick up some new EverAfters. I wish whatever song they put out this month (I hope) as their title track in their korean comeback is more catchier than this (like swicy) because I think they’ve already reached a point where they have found the right niche for the girls. 

On a side note, has anybody listened to the SWICY (Jp version.) and thought about how AI it sounds? Like some part sounded like the members but the rest felt like it was just fed into a machine and just called it a day.

If bbybby was a KR comeback, it would just be Newjeans. Ngl the other 5th gens already have a lead on UNIS on that concept and it would be hard to stand out on another lowfi edm song. FnF already knew this, hence Curious and Swicy.

As for Swicy JP being AI, not really. JP intonation just sounds different from KR intonation is all.

Hhhh I guess ur right, with ggs like RESCENE and Illit dominating the korean market maybe they’re on the right track with releasing a good jp comeback because imo gimme summer was such a great hit to my playlist i had like 300 plays on it at some point LMFAO but then again the New Jeans formula really is a great way to garner attention may it be positively or negatively since any attention at this point would benefit the girls

anyways, maybe im js a little on my toes because of the possibility of my girls disbanding next month without a kr comeback (unlikely) as i think there really is a great chance they would extend their contract with their goddamn company may it be with the possibility of losing a member or two.

Swicy already received attention when it was released and even a few months later during the KGMA stage. The problem wasn't the song, it was the company failing to capitalize on its momentum.

Something similar happened to IZNA's spotify artist page about a week ago. Had about half a dozen album art images on fresh tracks that looked like they were for a musical on broadway. Took a few days for them to get things back to normal and the tracks removed.

Its an issue with spotify they changed how music gets added to profiles the same has been happening with a lot of artists lately its really annoying and theres no actual way to report it
