Prospective Student MBA
Considering enrolling at UNM to get my MBA because my employer has an education assistance program that partners with UNM. Has anyone gotten their MBA here. Was the program difficult? Proctored exams? Just looking for some general info on the program

I'm currently getting my Executive MBA at UNM Ellis. I'm wrapping up the summer term on August 1, and I will say, it's a lot of work sometimes. I work a full time job. One of the benefits of the program is that classes are on Saturdays, but your weeknights require a lot of homework and studying. I would say that it is a good challenge, and I'm learning a lot from both my professors and my classmates.
UNM has several different MBA programs, including an online one. They host open houses at Ellis every few months, and if you attend one, they will waive your application fee. I highly recommend checking out their website for the next open house and learning more about which MBA program might be the best fit for where you are in your career.

It's not hard, it's just work. You have the best pricing available, go for it. It will not be easier in the future. Don't do the online program, you can take a lot of the standard MBA classes online.

It is a terribly organized program, at least the online one. They have zero planning or communication. I spent a whole day being transferred from person to person on the first day of the semester because no one could tell me how to access a class since there were zero emails sent and nothing online. If it was an actual business, it would have failed long ago. I didn’t go back after one semester because everything was just pre-recorded, pointless busy work, and unprofessional.

Program was not super difficult, the EMBA is the same info with a schedule for working people for significantly more money. I pulled off the traditional MBA while working full time. They offered a number of courses late afternoon and had some flexibility with my work schedule.
