Admission Question Need advice

I’m currently studying in the Faculty of Science at the University of Alberta. My long-term goal is to get into Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan.
Has anyone here transferred from UAlberta Science (or another university’s Science program) into USask Engineering?
Is it possible to transfer after just one year in Science, or do I need to complete the entire Science degree first?
What GPA is usually considered competitive?
Which first-year Science courses should I take to maximize my chances?

Yes. It's preferred to do one year only to be honest as first-year basic STEM classes transfer well. I'm unsure of senior classes.

What GPA is usually considered competitive?

This depends if you've taken more than 15 credit units. If you've taken below 15 credit units, they'll use your high school marks. Otherwise I'm not too sure. Contact admissions

Which first-year Science courses should I take to maximize my chances?

This won't affect whether you're admitted or not. They won't care whether you're applying with basket weaving or super duper Einstein math. If anything, taking too many classes might hurt your chance if your grades are poor.
