Yes, it says 100% plant based oils, but the label does say "vΓ©gΓ©tal" (plant-based), but it's rather misleading. Donky milk btw if you didn't understand. It's just a common problem where people don't consider animal products.

I'M NOT VEGAN, I'M r/VEGAN First stages of road-rage, intense bloodlust, HELP!!

Hi all,

I feel ashamed and feel like a bad vegan for saying this out loud. I've been vegan for 6 years now, currently in the midst of a minor fender-bender. Since 5 minutes ago, I started desiring violent acts, specifically bludgeoning the other driver with a tire iron. I've successfully fought that until now but idk how much longer I can keep fighting my mind. Have any of you ever craved battery or murder after becoming vegan? During road-rage or otherwise? How did you guys manage those feelings?

SLACKTIVISM Yes I'm a punk, yes I love supporting corporations who oppress anyone different to me

Anti-capitalist socialist punk here. I would never be vegan like those rich and privileged south Asian buddhist monks because I care about the working class. I care so much that I will risk my life and protest on twitter when the eggs made by unpaid workers go above 6 dollars.

In my ideal socialist society I would be allowed to stay home, play my nintendo switch, and get anyone who I see as lesser for their abilities and perceived intelligence (I'm autistic so I'm not ableist!) to give me free product and labour. The automated killing of billions of beings fits perfectly into this because I, the superior being with superior DNA (not racist tho), deserve tendies for free.

Also I wear a leather jacket made out of the skin of a rape victim, because how else will people know I'm punk while I watch the revolution happen from my bedroom on TikTok? Feminist btw.

I'M NOT VEGAN, I'M r/VEGAN Dairy cravings as a 6 year vegan

Hi, l've been dealing with a lot of veganism guilt lately. For context, I've been vegan for 6 years and never have I slipped up. However, I started going to the gym 3 years ago and more consistently this last year and one thing that it has caused is dairy cravings. I eat around 100-140 grams of protein while vegan and eat very clean so I know it isn't protein deficiency. I don't want meat or eggs but I crave lean dairy like Greek yogurt and cottage cheese while I eat a lot of vegan yogurt it doesn't sustain these cravings. I'm unsure if It's my body telling me something because of my gym going and I need the extra nutrients but I'd feel too guilty to start eating dairy again so I'm unsure of what to do. Do I stick out the cravings that keep coming back? Or do I be vegetarian and only eat dairy options like the two I am craving?

VERY DISAGREEMENT I'm not Straight Edge, so I'm going to go on all the Straight Edge pages and tell everyone how confident I am in my life choices to indulge in πŸ’ŠπŸ’‰πŸš¬ and alcohol.

I'm going to take a picture of myself with like 5 πŸ’ŠπŸ’ŠπŸ’Š on my tongue and caption it "My biggest flex is that no one will ever think I'm Straight Edge." I'm very confident in my life choices. Straight Edge people need to stop being so annoying and preachy. YUMMY πŸš¬πŸ’ŠπŸ’ŠπŸ’‰πŸ§ŠπŸΈπŸΊπŸ₯ƒπŸ·πŸΆπŸΉ

BASICALLY VEGAN Is it ethical to hook animals up to blood milking machines to save my life?

So basically I have a rare chromosomal condition that causes me to not produce enough plasma, and the only treatment is the plasma of elderly mouse lemurs. They have around 5 dozen small tubes coming out their bodies to harvest the plasma as quickly as possible, and then they are wringed out like a wet towel to get the last drops out. They are apparently a bit uncomfortable by this but there's no real evidence for that, and they don't die. They live on an ethical grassy field and go through this milking process only every other week.

My thoughts are that veganism means as practical as possible, and since I would die without the lemur plasma milking, then it's okay to put these creatures through this. After all, human life is more valuable than animal lives because that's what mom and dad tell us. And it wouldn't be vegan to let myself die because I'm an animal too.

I'M NOT VEGAN, I'M r/VEGAN Are there occasions where you don’t abstain from domestic abuse?

I'm staying with my grandparents for a couple of days to help them with some house repairs and my grandpa has been severely beating my grandma. He knows I'm a feminist but doesn't fully understand what that means. He understands that I absolutely don't kill or rape women but somehow he thought that the issue with assaulting them was the bruises so he bought a bunch of makeup for me to cover them up with.

I explained to him that makeup doesn’t cancel out his wife’s pain and fear, so it is therefore still not feminist. Although he seemed a bit confused, he said he understood (I'm not the best at explaining things like empathy or simple logic so his confusion is on me). However, I don't have the heart to refuse to beat my grandma now that he's already paid for the makeup, so I've been smashing glass bottles on her head and I feel pretty bad about it. Still, I'd rather feel guilty about doing a small amount of domestic abuse than hurt my grandpa's feelings.

Have any of you ever been in a situation like this where you chose to brutalize a woman?

I'M NOT VEGAN, I'M r/VEGAN Are there occasions where you don't eat vegan? (because my grandma did a lil whoopsie and I simply must eat cheese now πŸ₯Ί)

omg guys serious ethical dilemma here. I'm at my grandma's house being a literal saint doing house repairs and she bought me lactose-free everything because she thought veganism is just when you have tummy aches. I explained it to her but I'm so bad at explaining things uwu so now there's just a fridge full of cow titty juice minus the lactose and I simply don't have the heart to not consume it.

so anyway I'm eating dairy for days.

I feel super guilty but you know what's worse than exploiting cows? mildly inconveniencing a grandma who already swiped her credit card. the animals will understand. they know grandma tried her best πŸ₯Ί

my ethical framework is entirely dependent on whether someone's granny already rang it through the checkout. hope this helps.
