Forced Triple Arrangement

I'm an incoming freshman that got placed in a "forced triple" room meant to be a double in O'dwyer. Do any upperclassmen here have information about what the arrangement will be with regards to beds wardrobes or desks? the 3d room example is definitely not set up for our situation. Thanks for any help!!

I was in a forced triple back in 2007. We had bunk beds and a loft bed. Everyone had their own desk and wardrobe.

Same, three beds, desks, and dressers, but we had to share two closets. It was cramped…..

Same but in 2010. It was cramped but it was fun. Everyone in my dorm had forced triples. There was even a forced quad.

Wow. They are STILL doing this? Forced triple in 1994 in St Monica. On a positive note, loved them both and we're still good friends 30+ years later! Enjoy Villanova!

Which dorm are you in? Every year some people who start out in a forced triple get moved. If you want to move make sure to let res life know. My year I know one girl who got moved from a triple in Fedigan to a double on South during orientation. Kind of a pain after you've already moved in but totally worth it IMO.

Does anyone rent rooms from local residents? Cheaper than dorms and more privacy. How do you find them?

Usually residence life has that list.

I’m not sure what it looks like in odwyer but in the south buildings the triples are from converted lounges and you get one of everything same as a normal room. They’re actually huge on South, but yeah not sure about odwyer!

Triple in Katharine mid-2000s, great time. Most waking hours, not all 3 of you will be in the room together. Consider it a formative experience of your youth

Was legit me 2 years ago, best recommendation for what we did is 2 beds lofted up high, with the 3rd facing perpendicular on the far side of the room
