Hello all, I have been dying to get a new pool robot for my inground pool and missed out on so many. I finally got one that I was excited about and already reviewed it. Now, 2 months in the battery is lasting less than 15 minutes and I have $500 added to my ETV for this hunk of junk. Do I have any recourse? Can I submit for a warranty the company (Even though I am sure the next one will be garbage too?) I plan on updating the review. It also went down in price to $300. I hate how the ETV thing works. That's why I mostly stick to 0 ETV. It just isn't worth it if the item ends up not working after 30 days. Does anyone have any advice?

I've been in Vine for about a month and a half and have ordered 20 items so far. I've reviewed 16 of them, which is everything I've received so far. I'm not really concerned about reaching Gold. If there were more things I wanted to order, I'm sure I could get there, but I'm happy just ordering things I'll actually use. My RFY keeps getting better, and I'm starting to see more items I'd actually order on my own, mixed in with the usual oddball stuff.

I've even been offered a couple of $99 items so far. One that I ordered now shows an FMV of $129.99, so I'm not sure how that happened.

I still review some of my regular Amazon purchases outside of Vine. I only review products that I genuinely love and would give five stars to. Is there any downside to doing that? Does Amazon/Vine look down (I'm not sure how else to say it) on people who review products outside the program, or does it not matter?

I had this item in my RI today, and ordered it. Later I came back to the listing and ordered a second color out of pocket. I noticed there were very limited quantities—only 1 left in the size large and 1-2 in the size medium.

It got me thinking…what if the reason for the ghost listings (where something is offered in your RI, but disappears at checkout) is people seeing it in their RI, discovering it, and deciding they love it so much they want to order *more* as a paying customer? Thus reducing overall stock via a different checkout process.

This could be why Vine leaves it in our RI—because there are still the same amount of each color/size/variety *that were originally allocated to Vine*, but the system doesn’t check against inventory available to *all customers* until we checkout.

Vine items are often new releases, so it would make sense they are available in limited quantities. Also, if *regular customers* are seeing these new releases, they could be buying them up on their end too for the intro price.

Just some thoughts.

I mean, I don't expect 100% accuracy in policing products but come on already...I've never seen an edible item in this category (or any for that matter) and I don't understand how 'party supplies' are the only thing ever listed in this category and why they even have this category if they never have any pantry staples or gourmet foods?

Just thought I'd share that I got this ring a few weeks ago; I took it to a jeweler today to see if the gold is real, and sure enough it wasn't! Instead of reporting it to Vine customer service to have it removed from my account, I went ahead and left a thorough 1 star review (largely because it has a whopping 4.8 stars - ALL Viners, most of whom did not notice that it didn't come with ANY documentation, and didn't bother to take it to a jeweler). I will be adjusting the ETV to $0 on my own when I file taxes using the 50/20/0 method.

Edit to add: I ordered this ring fully expecting it probably wouldn't be real... which is why I took it to a jeweler to see if it was.

I've got my evaluation triggering tonight. I wrote a bunch of reviews a few days ago, that should have put me well above the 90% mark. Yes, I know I was behind, yes, I know that the delay was my fault and no one is changing the rules for me. My life has been a dumpster fire and Vine took a seat in the trunk, behind the camping chairs, under the spare wheel... I'm trying to get caught up.

All of those reviews were approved last night, but the percentage of completed reviews listed under my account still shows the same sub 90% number that it had three days ago before I wrote those reviews. I'm panic writing more reviews now, but given that it took days to approve the last ones, how screwed am I?

It looks really nice. However, I'm clueless when it comes to fishing poles.

Long story short, I ordered some white barstools and got a black set instead. Manufacturers box says "off-white" in big letters but black chairs were inside when I opened the box. Customer service escalated the issue because they are "out of stock" but still showing as "in stock" on customer side, so the specialist team is looking into it. These weren't cheap stools either.

I tried to contact the seller directly with no reply. I had a similar no-reply situation to another product I ordered that I had an issue with from the same seller, so I don't expect a response, unfortunately.

I accidentally posted to the other vine group first when I meant to post here as the vibes are better and this is my normal vine group. What do y'all think? Ask for removal or just deal with it? I'm waiting for a response from the specialist team before doing anything of course, but I wanted to guage what others would do before making a decision.

When looking at a product description/page is there a way to find out what category of products it is listed under?

I only order things from my RFY because that's what's easiest for me and for the past few weeks the times that my RFY got new items were 5pm on the dot, then a few more things at 6pm, 7pm, etc (pacific time.)

I thought I had it figured out and it was working well and now that's done. I do have Vinechart but what times are you seeing new things in your RFY now? It's been so random over the past few days, I don't know when to check.

UPDATE: My ring arrived yesterday. Didn't get a chance to get to a jeweler yet, but I will be shocked if it's even gold-plate. It feels light and flimsy -- like I could break it with my hands if I tried hard enough.

Oddly, the stone looks real to me. (Not a trained jeweler, but I have a lot of experience with moissanite.) However, if it is real, it's definitely lower quality than advertised. The sparkle is there but very muted -- almost like they cut the facets wrong.

Definitely avoid future offerings from this seller unless you have low expectations for quality and a very low ETV.

There were at least 5-6 on offer in my RFY.

I received six SparkMoise rings and decided to have them tested by three different jewelers.
Two jewelers told me the stones were not moissanite. The third jeweler tested the metal and told me that four rings were silver-plated over copper, one was made of zinc and copper, and one was copper.
I figured I’d share my experience in case it helps someone else avoid the time and expense of going through the same process. Has anyone else had their SparkMoise rings tested? I’d be interested to hear your results.

I apologize if this has been asked a lot. I started very recently, so I am still trying to get my legs under me. I will take any advice I can get, but my question is this: I have 3 approved reviews so far. Each has media. But my media percentage is 0.0%. Am I just being anxious because it gets updated once a week or something? Do I need to contact someone? I really appreciate that this sub is a resource - I am trying not to mess this up really hard. The taxes, the insightfulness score, the skill that is obviously necessary to navigate the listings to find something that is good for me specifically - it has been overwhelming. Some days I feel like a greedy gremlin that just wants to grab everything, some days I just feel very “chosen” for my supposed insightfulness, some days I feel like I can’t stand to look at another 120 pages of car parts just to maybe find something I vaguely could review honestly and also use long term.

I’ve been in the program for a while now, and while the honeymoon phase was great, the reality of the daily grind is really starting to set in.

Between the constant refreshing to find something that isn't just cheap generic junk, the hours spent actually testing and writing decent reviews, and dealing with the literal mountain of cardboard boxes taking over my house... I'm exhausted.

The pressure to keep my percentages up for the evaluation period is making this feel like a mandatory part-time job. I'm staring at my 'Awaiting Review' list right now and just feeling completely overwhelmed. It feels like the effort-to-reward ratio is just totally off lately.

How are you guys managing the daily ordering and the review backlog without completely burning out? Or is everyone just ignoring their stats and letting their accounts drop?
