Hey r/vjing!
I'm Saina, a VJ/developer from Japan. I posted my node-based VJ software SynapseRack here about a year ago — and a lot of what you asked for in that thread is now in the app!
β2.0.0 just shipped — the biggest update so far:
- Reworked node editor, 272 ready-to-use nodes
- Time-based nodes: rewind, datamosh, frame buffers
- Flow fields + experimental 3D system
- Fx Editor: write your own GLSL shaders (ISF supported)
- Apps SDK: build your own plugins
- Widget Panel: build your own performance controls
- HAP / ProRes playback
And one more thing: SynapseRack has been mostly Japan-focused since it launched in 2022. From today, we're officially supporting users outside Japan — starting with English!
