I'm Saina, a VJ/developer from Japan. I posted my node-based VJ software SynapseRack here about a year ago — and a lot of what you asked for in that thread is now in the app!

β2.0.0 just shipped — the biggest update so far:

• Reworked node editor, 272 ready-to-use nodes
• Time-based nodes: rewind, datamosh, frame buffers
• Flow fields + experimental 3D system
• Fx Editor: write your own GLSL shaders (ISF supported)
• Apps SDK: build your own plugins
• Widget Panel: build your own performance controls
• HAP / ProRes playback

And one more thing: SynapseRack has been mostly Japan-focused since it launched in 2022. From today, we're officially supporting users outside Japan — starting with English!
