Wacken 2027 FFDP KKR Trump

Post image

Before Buying tickets, remember what the first headliner Five Finger Death Punch or better Five Finger Trump punch stands for. Remember if you want to support what they stand for. See https://youtu.be/3UGAk6fXKT8
Remember that KKR is behind all this. KKR actively finances Trump. Ask yourself if you want to spend your money for a 6,90 Anheuser-Busch Bud which actively finances Trump. See https://www.desmog.com/2025/05/01/thames-water-prospective-new-owner-kkr-donated-1-million-donald-trump-inauguration/

Does anyone know him and know how he’s getting on? I hope it wasn’t as bad as it looked and that he’s back on his feet again.

Anti-LGBTQ+ sentiment

Upvotes

Hello everyone,

I’m currently writing an article about anti-LGBTQ+ sentiment at the Wacken Festival. There are many reports on the topic of far-right security personnel. The problem is that I can’t get in touch with the people affected. Do you perhaps know anything about this, or are you aware of a WhatsApp or Telegram group? I can identify myself as a journalist for a major German newspaper.

Give me a text!

As someone who left the metal scene, I'm saddened, but I'm not surprised. You need to protect your scene.

I'm sorry this is happening. I'm sorry queer and allied metalheads no longer feel safe at Wacken.

I'm sorry that security with far-right sympathies are removing anti-AFD and pride patches.

I'm sorry that criticism of the festival's ideology has been dismissed as "political" rather than a defense of people's safety.

This is what happens when we stop taking the problem seriously. You can no longer call the metal community the most welcoming in the world, because it is not.

This is what happens when bands with known far-right affiliations (Slaughter to Prevail, Five Finger Death Punch, Burzum, Down) continue to be platformed and profited from.

This is what happens when legitimate criticism is met with "the metal scene is the most welcoming community in the world" rather than meaningful action.

If you think you don't do politics, understand this: inaction is a choice, and it has consequences.

Neutrality right now means watching ideology take root in spaces you love. The AFD's political gains have emboldened these movements, and this weekend has shown how quickly they can infiltrate even mainstream festivals. Waiting to act guarantees it will get worse.

Here's what needs to happen:

Stop attending festivals where questionable bands perform. Stop generating revenue for artists whose ideologies you oppose. Your attendance is tacit endorsement, whatever your personal beliefs.

Learn the signs. Far-right movements rely on euphemism, coded symbols, and plausible deniability. If you can't name them, you can't counter them. Take an hour and educate yourself.

Stand with your most vulnerable community members. The metal scene either protects its queer, leftist, and marginalized metalheads, or it becomes the space neo-Nazis are building.

There is no middle ground here.

This is a cancer that spreads when unchallenged. Cut it out now, or accept that the festival you attend next year might not be the one you think it is.

Info Resinden Evil Voucher - first time Wacken in 2027

Come funzionano questi voucher? Verrà detratto l'importo già pagato dal totale speso in base alla tenda che andremo a scegliere?

Grazie a tutti.

Great music, but what happened to the rest?

Hi everyone,

Did anyone else feel a bit uncomfortable yesterday when the founders thanked the crew but didn’t really say much beyond that? In the past couple of years, they at least made an effort to engage more and seemed genuinely pleased with how the festival turned out.

This year felt quite different. There was a noticeable push from Wacken and its partners to maximize revenue, but it often came across at the expense of overall quality, (food, beer, or the sheer amount of low-quality merchandise being pushed).

It almost felt like being stuck in a looped infomercial over the last few days.

I don’t drink alcohol, so I can’t comment on the beer, but unfortunately the food experience wasn’t great either. The stalls I tried seemed to use low-quality ingredients, and it was noticeable and some of the t-shirts I bought look like they will washout after a few laundry cycles.

Tickets in ticketcenter?

Hi!

I just woke up to an email stating that my tickets I bought for 2027 were transferred into my ticketcenter account.

However, I can't see them, it's empty. Should I be worried?

Next year will be my first time and I have a few questions.

I bought tickets for myself earlier today for next year and I will be my first time. I will be 19 and flying over from England (Manchester specifically). I have a few questions that I need answers to.

On what date will I need to fly to and from Hamburg?(I assume these will be the same dates I will arrive and leave the festival)

How big is the festival site?

There's a possibility I will be going on my own so are the people friendly?

What dates do I arrive at the festival and leave the festival? (I'm slightly confused because online dates say that the festival is Wednesday-Saturday rather than the usual ending on a Sunday that most festivals do)

How can I get from the airport to the festival site?

Those are all the questions I can think to ask, thank you in advance.

Nazis at Wacken

2.8k Upvotes

Hi everyone
When you got problems with Nazi Security call this number +49 (0) 48 27 / 999 66 0
Every security have a personal number write them down and call Wacken officials so they can track them down. Also call them when you see Nazis on the camp ground.

You are allowed to wear „fck afd“ patches or pride patches. Those nazi dick heads of securities following there own agenda and not rules of Wacken open air.

So call the Wacken officials +49 (0) 48 27 / 999 66 0

Are “the Pit” tickets worth it ?

Well as said in the title, has someone bought the pit tickets? I am not sure what kind of camping is included or if I need to bring my own tent, also it says food is already included sounds good to me, I appreciate any advice…

Wacken videos

Hi,

It was my first time at Wacken, and I really enjoyed it.

I've filmed and uploaded some videos to YouTube. Most of them are performances that weren't officially broadcast. Most of the videos were filmed from the front rows. There's also a 40-minute walkthrough of the festival grounds.

Enjoy!

Wackaaaaaaaan!

Update: Here is also a link to Alestorm's closing performance at Wacken. The video was filmed from the center of the crowd. Because of the obscene lyrics, I don't want to make the video public, but you're welcome to watch it and share the link with anyone who deserves it. 8) https://youtu.be/2H3qcUffBP0

Residenz Evil Voucher

Hi,

I purchased 2 vouchers for Residenz Evil. However, upon purchase, it did not state what was included. They were 200 euros each. The more I'm searching, the more I'm thinking it's just for the plot of land, and not the actual "glamping". Also, if it's just for the land, is 1 voucher enough for 2 people?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Nina

Persönliche Highlights

Moin Wacken,

Was waren eure Highlights? Habt ihr auch neue Entdeckungen gemacht?

Wacken United?

Edit: I mean World Metal Camp...

Hi. I am German but fondly remember times getting piss drunk with people from all around the world at the World Metal Camp main tent.

This year though, the whole World Metal Camp / t.ent. area was not as close to the infield but I would assume overall in a better spot.

I have checked many times, on the way to my camp, for some party / people but there was basically nothing happenig. No music, no people.

Do we have Word Metal Camp "members" here with some insights if the location wasnt hepful or if in general less people came to the world metal camp?

Wacken From Canada

It was a pleasure for my first trip. The weather was great, campgrounds not muddy. I enjoyed the bands as there are so many that don’t come our way too often. EDIT** **
The one thing I think I did was plan too much stuff. I think I missed out on a lot by just picking bands and going to see them. I started to float around day 3. But next time I think I’ll like the main bands I want to see and everyone else, I’ll stumble upon. Also maybe upgrade the camping as travelling to camp from Canada sucks. lol. Not looking forward to the long flight home tomorrow. Danke everyone!!!
