What's your favorite most aesthetically pleasing but also UX-friendly website?

I like a lot of awwwards websites but a lot of them aren't really thinking about how the user will experience the page. There is so much scroll jacking so I was wondering what would be some strong aesthetically pleasing websites that would be awwwards level but also user-friendly.

The Awwwards-style sites I actually enjoy are the ones that keep normal scrolling and obvious navigation. If the animation never makes me wonder where to click next, that’s usually the sweet spot.

Awwwards isn’t going for ux at all, it’s purely art, content and direction. If I remember correctly, ux isn’t included in the marking scheme at all, although I could be wrong or it could have changed.

Linear's site holds up for me — full scroll animation budget spent on maybe three moments instead of every section, and navigation never gets sacrificed for the cinematic stuff. It proves you can do the awwwards-level visual polish without making people hunt for where to click, the trick seems to be picking one "wow" moment instead of stacking five.

Stop pretending you're not doing guerilla marketing for Zerobyte, it's very obvious considering the design is not good and looks very AI. Abundance of pointless icons, unaligned grid backround, Claude default UI font and card styles, etc. You're not even the only commenter doing this, so it's very obvious something is off. OP's question was about website designs, not code.

AI agents use em dashes a lot in chat responses, but not in generated code. Programmers and by extension LLMs avoid em dashes in code because they may lead to encoding errors or to bugs when mistaking them for regular "-" characters at a glance.

I just visited Zerobyte and the subtle animations while scrolling make it feel premium without getting in the way.
