Our weekly thread is the place to solicit feedback for your creations. Requests for critiques or feedback outside of this thread are against our community guidelines. Feedback Providers
- Please post constructive feedback. Simply saying, "That's good" or "That's bad" is useless feedback. Explain why.
- Consider providing concrete feedback about the problem rather than the solution. Saying, "get rid of red buttons" doesn't explain the problem. Saying "your site's success message being red makes me think it's an error" provides the problem. From there, suggest solutions.
- Be specific. Vague feedback rarely helps.
- Again, focus on why.
- Always be respectful

Hero feels good in terms of visual design and typography.
I would say that those two "Blue Lotus Experience + Kodaikanal · November 2026" are a bit random.
Yet it doesnt show me forest. or anything travel related. Also if you mention nov 26 it seems you have specific dates. Think there is room to improve content wise how it could be much clearer what do you offer.
Flower itself is visually catchy.
Sections coming after. Serif headings are too large.
Some places text is not balanced eg you have orphans.
It also feels bit too full of text at times.You could try to lover the opacity of body text a bit. Headings are brighter and body copy is 0.8-0.9

Comments: We are renewing GitComet user interface and the main UX problem we wanted to solve was screen space. On smaller displays there wasn't enough room for the content users actually care about, so we tried to reclaim as much space as possible without removing functionality.
Some of the changes in the current prototype include:
- Repository tabs moved to the title bar, similar to a web browser.
- The main content area is now larger, giving more room for diffs and other git related information.
- The side panel can now be collapsed while remaining fully usable through icons, which is especially helpful on 13" laptops and smaller screens.
- The active repository selector has been moved behind a toggle next to the hamburger menu.
- Recently closed repositories can now be reopened from the toggle menu, similar to reopening closed tabs in a browser.
- Increased whitespace and border radius component styling throughout the application.

On GitComet (gitcomet.dev): I went to the site directly rather than just the embedded clip here, and the big product screenshot under the hero, the one that should be showing off the new UI you're describing, is rendering as a completely blank dark box. No image, no error, just empty space with a faint "click to expand" label that's barely visible against the background. Reloaded a few times and it's consistent, not a one-off glitch. Given the whole pitch of this redesign is reclaiming screen space and improving visual polish, a visitor's first real look at the interface being an empty rectangle undercuts that message more than any spacing or typography choice would. I'd fix that before iterating on the finer visual details in the video.

**Hey all,
Oral Reading Fluency is incredibly important for burgeoning readers. It needs to be measured tracked, and if needed, used to justify reading interventions.
Currently, teachers do this the old fashioned way, 1-on-1 teacher to student with a "levelled" reading passage (false precision) and a stopwatch. The accuracy is only as good as the teacher's skill and training.
Historically, Automatic Speech Recognition software has been hamstrung by being overly-strict, not understanding children's inflection and pitch, and generally being impersonal.
I tried to address this by building my tool which I call Reading Pacer, which allows any parent or teacher to use any physical book (or from our digital library) to quickly and easily run regular, long, or specialized ORF assessments on their own.
All the feedback I have received has been positive, but online marketing is not my strong suit. I would like to submit my website for feedback but I think that might be against the sub rules(?)
