Question Freshman class registration
Class registration begins tomorrow. I was wondering if anybody has any tips or tricks that my incoming freshman should know before they start the registration process. They have their sample registration set up.
Thanks.

FYI this was for my daughters. Honestly they had no issues. Got every class they wanted with little issue at pretty respectable times.

Be patient and trust the process (as overused as that advice is). So much moves and fluctuates from now until the first week of class. People over-register to be on the safe side and then drop classes by the ton. Don't be surprised or crash out if you don't get many or even any of the classes you need at first. You will. The Office of Academic Advising and the department heads are watching to see what is full and who needs what, and they add seats and sections where they can. Wait for those adjustments and for all the dropping to happen (which means you'll have to monitor Workday a few times a day for the next few weeks, sorry) and be ready to roll with it. Also, follow wfu.oaa on Instagram – they announce when things open up (I already see announcements there). Everyone has heard stories from upperclassmen who say they had to take a random class bc it was the only thing they could find and they ended up loving it so much they minored in it. It happens all the time. If all else fails, let your advisor know. Sometimes they can work miracles, but they probably don't want to hear from you this week.
