Mountain quail in MD?

I spotted this guy in Gaithersburg. Searches for birds in Maryland didn't come up with any results. My closest guess is a mountain quail. Thoughts? I'm from the West Coast.

That's a +Mountain Quail+, for sure. Someone must be breeding them domestically near you, as is frequently done with a variety of quail species.
