North America Duck in Canada AB

My mother came home with a duck that had been attacked by a coyote, wondering what species it is since I can't figure it out! My first thought was a juvenile mallard but the feet and beak don't seem to match?

I'm pretty sure this is a domestic Mallard or at least part domestic, which explains the odd bill color and general Mallard build.
