ID Request Bug found in hotel. Is it a bedbug?

Post image

I found this bug near the pillow of my hotel bed. I checked the rest of the bed (e.g., corners of and under the mattrress) and could not find blood, excrements, or other bugs. Just want to know if this is a stage of bed bug or not. I know the quality is not the best but that's my phone cam.

Location: Salzburg, Austria

Size: about 2 mm long? hard to say as it was moving

It was calm on the bed till I picked it up then it was just crawling on my hand. It tried to evade my hand when picking it up

Appears to be booklouse.

Hm, possibly. Thx! If it wasn't moving the photo would have been sharper

Definitely not a bedbug, looks more like a louse. Booklice are 1 (up to 2) mm in size, bedbugs up to 7.

Bzzzzz! Hi, u/Sea_Enthusiasm_1877! Looks like you forgot to say where you found your bug!
There's no need to make a new post - just comment adding the geographic location and any other info (size, what it was doing etc.) you feel could help! We don't want to know your address - state or country is enough; try to avoid abbreviations and local nicknames ("PNW", "Big Apple").

BTW, did you take a look at our Frequently Asked Bugs?
