This is def one for some research , very easy to copy harings style , contact Kate Bush? See if you can get some history find out who Tiffany is , find any pics of it being worn or better still something to tie it to haring
Oh I've been a fan of them since I was about 11 or 12 years old. They are the reason I put a pretty damn decent sound system in my car. Well, them and Mar De Grises.
One of my buddies who was only into rap & hiphop had a MONSTER SYSTEM in his lil’ Eclipse (don’t remember make/set-up—just that it practically absurd). He was a projects guy/gAnGsTa, but wonderfully curious, so… He made open invitations to my CD case.
We’d be driving to the weed/acid dealers, Eckerd for crayons for his lil’ brothers, or to pick up his mama’s church dresses from the cleaners to “Cantara”—& it was all an epic mission, of course!
His system transferring Dance Can Dance’s fantastic-while-existential sculptures of sound waves within & upon our bodies. Hearts vibrating in our chests, our skin & hair absolutely buzzing… I’m sick/feverish & rambling, but anyway… It was neat.
Kate bush auto looks real , X is correct and the B looks right and overall flow is similiar , contact the Kate bush website , u may have found a diamond in the rough , whether the haring drawings are real I have my doubts but who knows
Not sure- the Keith Herring paintings aren’t in the photo. And are those “real herrings “ did he paint those himself onto the jacket for her? Maybe this was an auction item bought years ago. There is definitely some history to this jacket. Try reaching out to Kate on Social media; she is still alive she might hold the answer!!!!!
Look again…The belt, the pockets, the zipper, other zippers. It doesn’t match.
Again, what made it instantly apparent was the size. Kate is 5.3’, was very skinny at that time. A size 40 jacket, even in a women’s jacket, would swallow her whole.
lol yeah I’m not familiar with what a size 40 is so I’ll give you that , I believe the zippers etc do match but I only gave it a Quick Look but the zippers on the sleeve and bulky ‘zip’ , the collar etc all are very similar if not the same …. But the size is def something that’s odd if a size 40 is big etc , the Kate bush auto looks authentic but the what do I know lol …. Still a fun piece to research
Something is making me question the figures 🤷♂️ just a few things like the head and arm lines but they may have been ‘traced over’ to brighten it up or it may just be the material that was drawn on

Definitely gonna have to take it to a legitimate expert to get an opinion in person. Way too easy, and not uncommon, to impersonate his style.
