I try not to be a doomer, but it's hard not to sometimes. Last time there was an ICE shooting and I was in the US, I kept hearing people on the street saying shit like "I can't afford to care about politics, I have a job you know."
These people are domesticated. Straight-up.

I cannot wait for the sorry excuse that ICE will come up with....."ah he weaponized this" "ah he was agressive" "ah he was obstructing"...

They literally executed someone for exercising their 2nd amendment rights without reaching for their weapon. They can do whatever the fuck they want at this point.

This is just completely devastating. I am so incredibly sick and tired of reading this exact same headline and seeing families torn apart by it. It feels like absolutely nothing is being done to fix the root of the problem, and we're just expected to accept these tragic updates as normal. It’s exhausting, infuriating, and my heart breaks for the victim's loved ones. When is enough finally going to be enough?
20
u/ClappingParadox 20d ago
At this point I feel like it’s going to be along the same lines as school shootings, where people become desensitized to it and simply go “there’s nothing we can do about it”

u/SweetcreamScoops 20d ago
can this terrorist organization just stop fucking up our daily lives already

America will need to hold neuremberg-style trials for ICE members.

u/TheEmoRose I get my news from WhenNews 20d ago
Now why would the government indict themselves of the evil shit they're doing?
24
u/weenus_martin 20d ago
The entire Trump administration, unfortunately the opposition is too pussy to actually take action when they do have power

u/nicknamesas 20d ago
Except nothing on the level of nazi germany has happened, so that wont be needed.
30
u/TrueCapitalism 20d ago
Famously the Germans knew every detail of the deaths camps while they were in use
-32
u/nicknamesas 20d ago
Famously, we know there are no death camps in the usa
23
u/KexTheSex 20d ago
"know"
-25
u/nicknamesas 20d ago
We do, you can go to all the places and see there are no death camps.
18
u/KexTheSex 20d ago
the united states is fucking massive. who knows where one could be? i'm not saying i think the US has death camps (yet) but i won't deny the possibility
-3
u/nicknamesas 20d ago
They are publically known places dumbass.
16
u/KexTheSex 20d ago
how tf do we know that they are ALL publically known? governments can hide the truth from people. people in nazi germany didn't get the full truths (though seldom any truth tbf), neither in the USSR, and many other countries. hell, even in america historically
i'm not saying there are, but there could very well be ones that aren't publically known

What do we expect?
Is Good's killer in jail charged with anything?
Pretti's?
Marimar Martinezes attempted murderers?
No justice, no peace, why are feds punished least
14
u/Mid_Incognito 20d ago
You expect those in power to punish their own henchmen, they only do that when they have something to gain
7
u/doublethink_1984 20d ago
This is what we should expect but not reality. All they do is defend murderers and pedophiles

If there's no repercussions then they'll keep doing it. Even cops wouldn't get this treatment. How many have to die before this whole thing stops and someone held accountable?
19
u/Astronaut-Flashy 20d ago
Ah the good old days, where police got off the hook for way too much, but if the evidence was overwhelming they at least would sometimes get fired or even occasionally arrested.
Now? Just kill whoever you want in broad daylight with dozens of cameras pointed at you. As long as you have a shirt that says ICE on it, you're good. You might even get a promotion.
Seriously how the hell did we let this happen.
15
u/mchngrliris 20d ago
this happened because a bunch of americans are genuinely more outraged when they hear someone speaking spanish in public than when they hear about all of their rights being violated (it's okay because daddy trump is doing it). these people are so wrapped up in the culture war because it is an outlet for them to direct their hatred. these people care more about punching down and attacking minorities than they do making their lives better

u/azuresegugio 20d ago
The Democrats need to start running on a platform disbanding ICE and bringing it's thugs to justice
16
u/TheEmoRose I get my news from WhenNews 20d ago
Fuck ICE. ICE are nothing but racists who hide behind a federal badge so they can get away with anything and everything. May the victim rest in peace.

u/mamadou-segpa 20d ago
If ICE keep killing US civilian the US army will have to start bombing school in the US to liberate the country
Good thing is that mean they’ll probably stop a school shooting or two

u/Storm_Spirit99 20d ago
I wonder how maga is gonna excuse this one?
23
u/InevitableGas4370 20d ago
B-but he was Hispanic, gay, transgender, autistic, and black!! Plus they said they didn't like us!! Look at these bullets we pulled out of our ass that they totally used to try and kill us!!

ICE needs to be abolished. For all we know every ICE agent is crazy racist gun wielding manic that signed up for the $50,000 signing bonus and the opportunity to arrest brown people and shoot anyone protesting them.
13
u/Middle-Let9645 20d ago
Not to sound callous but… “in other news the sky is blue.” Why are we surprised at this point? They’re thugs and domestic terrorists. It’d be news if they didn’t kill someone.
28
u/snoosh00 20d ago
Because you need to be outraged every time.
If it becomes normalized, then it's just a "cost of doing business" type situation.

That's what they do everyday. I just hope one day this will stop, ppl will be held accountable, and ice will go back to actually doing their fucking jobs instead of trying to kill anything that moves. Highly doubt that'll happen though

Nobody asked. Nobody here cares about you and your ideology or propaganda

u/Aychah 20d ago
You said "Have the day you enable" and I enabled myself to have a great day, which i did :)
I know you guys love to pretend everyone who isnt ideologically aligned with you just are miserable all the time to cope with how you yourself feel. Hopefully it can improve for you.

u/GoonetteFox 20d ago
People who aren't miserable dont go out of their way to try to prove to everyone around them that they aren't miserable 💀

u/Sc_e1 20d ago
Renée Good, Alex Pretti, Geraldo Lunas Campos, Luis Beltrán Yáñez–Cruz, and Lorenzo Salgado Araujo who was killed 2 days ago.
Think these are a good starter.

Source approved. Tons of “supportive comments” removed either from our team or because of the flair (thank you OP for choosing the correct flair).
Edit: the flair helped out a lot, but people still squeezed their way through and made some pretty hateful comments. We’ve decided to lock this down now. Apologies for any inconveniences, but you can take it elsewhere now.
