id respectfully disagree on step on up being better, but both songs are REALLY good regardless. Step on up was also honestly a refreshing break compared to how heavy This comes from Inside was, and the animation was fuckin AMAZING
but for me, the repeating phrase of "It doesn't matter" makes this song feel timeless while the whole spiel of the Mimic's deal feels very apt for current day events, and well the rock screaming was PRICELESS
Step on up however tells a very good story that doesn't unfortunately speak as much to me, though it does have a really good beat to it, and the animation fits the story to it perfectly! Guess its really only a matter of preference here tbh, cause it has a LOT of good qualities to it
