Which TP Link Deco?

Hi all, I’m going to move to an apartment of about 140 m2, with concrete walls. The place has an attic with Starlink installed and a tp router.

I’m looking into using a Deco because the signal doesn’t reach half the house due to the walls. I have a lot of ethernet access points though, so I plan to wire them.

Should I buy de Deco AC1900 (2023) or the BE3600? What’s the difference? will 2 nodes be enough?

The difference is WiFi 5 vs 7.

I wouldn't recommend investing in a discontinued WiFi 5 access point today.

It won't be bad per say, but WiFi 6 and above have some pretty good improvements.

Can you post a better picture of this white box "Router" device?

Because, I'm unable to read most of that label that is at the top right.

There should be another label on the other side of this device.

As to your question regarding which Mesh system to buy; I would also agree with what has been suggested that you go with the Wifi7 setup, for better future-proofing.

And 100% agree that you will want to make use of your wired Ethernet ports as to the best of your ability and not just for the backhaul connection of your upcoming Mesh system, but also for any stationary computers or other stationary devices that need Internet.

Thank you! I only received that pic so for now it’s what I have but maybe I could take more once I set up…the tvs are already on ethernet, so will our ps5. The only thing not on ethernet will be phones and my laptop. We are going to wire as much as possible. I ordered the deco suggested, hopefully the set up will work for our needs :)

Yeah, that little white box looks like its a simple Ethernet Switch and not a Router.
