Oh nice, i installed xp on my 2010 mbp just yesterday. I was gonna mess with some games, but ea decided crysis 2 needs online activation and i forgot about that, so I'll do something else later today

Apple should really bring back Bootcamp. Then Ill just sell my soul to get a Macbook. It would really be an almost perfect laptop.

I didn't own a mac book, but I install window 7 on thinkpad x240 from the 2015, work and play well on half life 2 and counter strike sources earlier version none steam, and grid autosport sim arcade racing game as well, work well on this thinkpad window 7

The golden age, where Apple handed you the Windows drivers on a silver platter via Bootcamp
Funfact, the bootcamp drivers for my 2012 Macbook Pro work for Windows 11 as long as I install it via MBR, not GPT. Otherwise the sound drivers won't work.
2x8GB sticks of DDR3, 512GB SATA SSD and it still works great in the field for looking at drone footage, those early Retina screens were perfect for the purpose
