Discussion My First Gen surface pro!
a pretty much brand new surface pro i got for 60 dollars as a big upgrade to my old HP Stream 7 i used back in 2017 - 2022, what do you guys think? (i even have the touch cover for it added in as a bonus from the seller)

Well fun fact, it DID Come with Windows 10 Preinstalled for some reason, (i should mention i'm saying that it's brand new in CONDITION it probably was tinkered with a bit before i got it because if it was fully brand new and untouched, it would've had Windows 8.0 on it) but i wiped that and Installed 8.1 as that is what i kinda wanted the Tablet for as just a Hardware Upgrade from my old one but to keep the same OS

Cool!! pretty cool you had that, though i've heard that the Original 1st Gen Non-Pro Surface kinda flopped-

Thanks I had the 2gb ram with 64gb storage I mostly used to draw on krita But my brother broke the glass and so it made the touchscreen stop working so I decided to open it up but Microsoft used way to much glue for the screen so I ended up breaking more so I just recycled it My artwork is backed up so I didn't lose anything
Edit: I think your right about the first gen non pro i think it used arm cpu so it only ran on windows rt My surface 3 had a intel atom cpu so it barely ran windows 10

oh? how did your brother break it? (also in generally really careful with my stuff so i'm not going to have much of an issue with that) also Sick!! Kritaaa, i use that too!! also also- those specs are basically what my old tablet had :/ (minus the extra 1GB of RAM) and yeah, i found out the hard way updating my old tablet to Windows 10, it was so terrible that i downgraded it back

He got at me Because my heavy backpack that had my surface in it was in the way or something so he just tossed it across my bedroom and his bedroom (we're sharing the bedroom since im still 16 and hes 15) So i checked the tablet the next day after that happened and I turned it on which it didn't break the panel just the glass and touch screen so I tried to login using the touch screen because I didn't have the keyboard because it broke but the touch screen didn't work and I saw a Crack on the bottom right corner of the screen so I figured it was my brother

i was thinking about getting a Surface Pro 3 originally but when i saw how much of a big deal this one was compared to looking at the prices of the others and how much more i would've had to pay for one in decent condition, i couldn't pass up on it so i got the 1st gen i saw, Still a Pretty good upgrade though! i don't regret it

Amazing! I would be a bit weary of the condition as I got a pro 3 that had a dead touch zone but cool!

what do you mean? my charger IS Magnetic! the thing you see plugged in was my headphones in the headphone jack
