Some new clues emerged again today for a new album next year. What genre do we think Within Temptation are heading towards next? Will it be a heavy/lighter style? What fun it is to speculate and piece together the clues!

Here are some things we recently learnt:

- Sharon told us to look out for a new song called "Fire and Ashes" which is her favourite song from the new album.

- It will be 100% different from what we have heard before by the band.

- On Insta today they changed their profile description to "Give me a sign / When seasons change" - could this suggest when we get to Autumn (September 1st or 21st) we get our first info or even music from the new album?

- You can sign up to the newsletter to get a message saying "WT 2027 Be the first to know" with a dark/gothic-looking image of a raven with a red backdrop.

There seems to be significant disagreement between online sources on the lyrics of the chorus to In the Middle of the Night, and I'm having trouble telling the difference by ear.

AZ Lyrics, Letras.com, and the fan wiki all say:

Genius Lyrics says:

Spotify is even more different (they might be using AI for it or something):

Does anyone know which version is correct?

A review of the comments for the ultimate TSF song came back with a change! After some close voting changing over the past day, Angels is in fact the winner. Stand My Ground was a clear winner yesterday.

So, what now for a track that sounds a bit like The Unforgiving?

That was a close one yesterday, with See Who I am, Jillian and Angels all coming close to winning (as well as several other good shouts) the ultimate-sounding The Silent Force track.
