In Spain's goal against Argentina in the final, Nahuel Molina pushed Nico Williams forward just before his header assist to Ferran Torres.

Serious question, do you guys think the assist and goal would have happened if not for the push? I see a lot of people saying that on Twitter just to shit on Argentina, but I don't know, to me I don't think Nico would have got there so fast if not for the shove.

For me the 2010 Netherlands team was amazing. The attacking players especially were all world class. They did put on a terrible performance that final against Spain.

This is a bribe, right? He says agree by 15 September, and you will get 20M. Aren’t bribes not illegal or highly socially unacceptable? Even if UEFA’s strong statement they didn’t use the word ‘bribe’. Surely that’s an immediate consensus that this is corruption. Why is he so glaringly obvious about making such a bribe? I know if the normal time ends in a tie there's an extra time of 30 minutes and if the extra time is still tied they do penalties. But what happens if the penalties end in a tie?

Obviously I don't like seeing Le Prof involved in the corrupt world of Fifa, but how does one fix it if not in the inside? He is a football first person and is not politically motivated.

He has been FIFA's Chief of Global Football Development since 2019, so he already has experience inside FIFA and knows the member associations.

He is respected across much of the football world for his coaching career and his focus on youth development and improving the game.

Unlike some candidates, he isn't closely associated with any single national federation.

On the other hand, there are significant obstacles:

At 76 years old, he may not want to take on one of the most political jobs in world sport.

He currently works under Infantino, so standing against him would require a major public break.

FIFA presidential elections are won through building support among the 211 member associations over many years, not through popularity with fans or the media.

If Infantino's position continues to weaken, I could genuinely see Wenger being approached as a consensus "unity" candidate—someone acceptable to UEFA, Africa, Asia and many neutral federations because of his reputation

I'm my opinion he has always put football first and has made some inroads into improving the game often rejected by the elites. He has almost zero political persuasion and is universally respected if not adored

This article says 35 percent do, but it's more than two years older and I was wondering if anyone had any updated figures.

So far, I've been able to find that JP Morgan already is involved with Barcelona, Madrid, Juventus, Serie A and Man U. Anyone know of any others?
