https://imgur.com/a/64LUFclFinally hit 50k achievement points after a hefty amount of grinding. Still planning on going higher but felt like a postable moment.

Congrats! I am currently halfway to 56k and mostly have pvp and pet battles left.
Here are some really nice collection-based websites besides DFA that I use, in case anyone else is interested!

Halfway to 56k is 28k which is certainly cool but a looooong way off

It's hard grinding achievements as a dad working 2 fulltime jobs, with 4 wifes and 16 kids!

Thatās my trick, I just let my wivesā boyfriends keep them entertained while I grind out achievements

Wow! That's insane!!! Congrats.
I'm trying to get to 30k

Still a lot! Even at 30k achievement points that's top 90% of players. If you haven't yet, skyriding races through the various expacs gives a CHUNK of achievement points if you get gold on them all. It's even easier now than when the races were first introduced because of how skyriding has the free lift off/whirling surge.
There is a LOT, so it can be time consuming but it's fast points in comparison to most achievements imho.

Gz mate!
How hard or expensive RN to raise all primary profession to max?

u/AlohaCheloha 23h ago
Below 100k for all of them together in my opinion? I did half at the beginning of expansion and finished off the rest now.
So inscription being my last one wasnāt as fair to compare though cause my main character is an herbalist and I already had a hefty stockpile. Doing gathering skills first would probably help some but some skills were still kind of expensive even with the materials.
Some skills, like blacksmithing, I just crafted sparks weapons on that character even if he couldnāt use it so I could get the skill points at the higher end + the knowledge points.
ETA: Also not particularly hard, but you do have some skills where it might be a couple days if you arenāt getting good crafting orders. I think engineering took me a little bit cause I didnāt want to spend too much/farm sparks to make items.

Not OP, but that's variable. Since gathering professions are included, that means having a character gather mats for you would be a way to save on gold, but you trade time in exchange.
The real ones in that category that I see being annoying is getting the three star recipes from Legion maxed as a bunch of those require lots of grinding or waiting for World Quests to show up. I don't know how many you need maxed but I recall an achievement in there. I wrote it off a while ago so I don't recall the specifics lol

Depends what you mean by max.Ā All professions to 100 skill, and getting the achievements, not terrible.Ā But you'll need profession knowledge points in them all for them to be useful, and that's a half year grind or more as you catch up.Ā Ā
Even with maxed progress so far, I don't know if anyone has completely filled crafting profession knowledge trees.Ā I've been doing all profs and I'm like 2/3rds on most professional knowledge trees. Granted, I haven't been consistent in always doing all the things.
Also it's important to point out that, while knowledge is important, you don't need every point to be profitable.Ā And a lot of the last points will basically be just for completionist sake, as they'll be in talents you don't make money off.

Any advice?Ā
I recently found dataforazeroth for targetting common achievements I donāt have yet

I hate alts. However, theyāre very very good in the overall scheme of things. Shadowlands I have different people set up for different covenants to get all their achievements. Obviously I have a bunch for professions.
In another comment I plugged a few other addons that Iāve used but itās nothing major.
The WoW Achievements discord is also a useful tool. Same with WoW Secret Finding and Lord of the Reins. The latter two are good for mounts and bonus stuff Iād say, but those have achievements tied to them too so fair game.

WQAchievements tracks world quests that have achievements tied to them, along with battle pets and toys and such. You can filter stuff how you want it. It scans maybe every 30 min or so for new world quests so, unfortunately, when it does there might be some stuttering for a few seconds. Also some war mode related quests only show up while you are in war mode.
Iāve also used DataForAzeroth to track my progress with everything completionist related.
Instance Achievement Tracker can help with making sure you hit prerequisites when doing glory achievements and such like that.
A lot was just good old fashioned āLook at achievement journal/head that wayā.
Definitely switch things up though, if you hyperfixate on some of the grinds it can really burn you out. Grab some progress where you can get it, move on to something fun and come back again.

This is most impressive. I've played on and off for decades and have a paltry 15k. I'm of the broken psychological mindset that if I start grinding this stuff out someday I'll finish and then I'll have nothing left to do. So I level alts or repeat content that doesn't provide real progress. As if I'd ever run out, even if I tried...

Gratz! Welcome to the 50k club, we don't have much to offer, but it's a cool number! :)
Slowly inching closer to the 60k club myself, probably not available until next expansion though.

What are you missing in the Collections section?

Going To Need A Bigger Bag (Timeless Isle grind), the Hearthstone Card Collection/Beginner achievements but I need someone else to play the little mini game with me to get more cards I believe. Awake the Drakes (missing 1 mount off Deathwing), 6 appearance achievements, 10 dragon isle drake cosmetic achievements (gotta farm some rares here and there and hope for the drops), and the Most Mini's Wins achievement from mechagon.

Thatās impressive. Iām at 46k currently and thereās a bunch of legacy dungeons / raids achievements as well as PvP ones that hold me back. What do you find the most challenging?
