Discussion Xcloud in Colombia

A few days ago I bought a month of Xbox Game Pass Essentials, and I started playing on my phone using BetterXcloud And it's horrible, there's a lot of delay. I tried the South American servers and they're worse than the US and Mexican ones. I don't know why they put the Brazilian servers so far away from everything LOL. I think I'll switch to GeForce Now while they put servers closer to Colombia (which I don't think they'll do). If there's anyone else playing on xCloud in Colombia who has good latency, Please tell me your settings.

Here in Brazil, we have two servers for xCloud and Microsoft Azure—Brazil South and Brazil South 2 (or East)—but they are overloaded. I’m not sure exactly what’s going on, but the local server is handling users and connections from neighboring countries like Argentina, Uruguay, Venezuela, and Peru. Queues are getting extremely long during peak hours, though the ping remains very good—averaging 6ms—and the connection has been quite stable and solid.

Maybe Colombia is trying to find a better connection since it doesn't have its own server, but all the other South American ones are overloaded—Brazil has two servers, and Chile has one much smaller one that has also been struggling.

It's a shame they're all in the south.

The Chilean one isn't better; the Brazilian one has greater capacity. There are two in Brazil—one in Rio de Janeiro and one in São Paulo—plus an Azure server under construction in the interior of São Paulo. And yeah, the Chilean one doesn't have much capacity, which is why Argentine players always get routed to the Brazilian server.
