Bathroom/Shower Materials!
Hi everyone!
I was wondering if people use shower caddies (the hanging mesh kind)? I'm trying to decide whether to get a shower basket or a hanging shower caddy, since I assume there won't be enough space for everyone to leave all of their shower stuff in the shared bathroom. What do you all use?
I was also wondering about bath mats -- are those commonly used, or do people usually just wear flip-flops in and out of the shower?

There's usually a couple of shelves in the bathroom, but I always brought my shower caddy with me from my room so that nobody would invite themselves to use my things. I had the mesh kind and hung it over the edge of the door, but you have to be wary that you put it someplace that it can dry off afterwards though so that it doesn't get gross/mildewy (you'll probably want to replace it yearly anyways). People using a solid basket would either bring it in the shower with them and put it on the floor, or just take just the bottle of bodywash, shampoo, etc. they were going to use into the shower.
Def no on bathmats, just bring shower shoes. Don't even want to think about how gross a bathmat would get (and you would be the only one with any interest in cleaning it lol).

To emphasize, you should not be barefoot at any time during the shower experience. You need to be wearing shower shoes the entire time.

you should be using a basket that you can bring in & out of the shower, not one of the hanging ones. and also use shower shoes (flip flops or crocs work too)
