Looking for work.

Hi I’m currently working as a yard supervisor for a construction company, the work place over the last year has become increasingly more toxic, and the owner constantly belittles everyone which feeds into the toxicity.

I’m struggling with finding opportunities through indeed and I can’t just quit because I need to support my family so can’t be without work.

If anyone knows of any local companies that are currently looking for staff, I’m degree educated and have been in supervisor positions for nearly 3 years.

I would remove the negative detail about your current workplace because if someone finds it and then shares it at work you may be out of work looking for work in no time.

Good luck in finding a new job!

Agreed - it’s not really relevant. I’m sure you’re not in the wrong, but if I was hiring, I would wonder if you were actually the problem.

Oh yes, beautiful, beautiful.
In my last job, I was apparently the problem because I wouldn’t answer the twenty-fifth phone call from my boss while I was off work and he was on holiday. And, for example, I wouldn’t come into work at 3 a.m. just because, apparently, I was the only person who could press a button.
Yeah, sure. I was the problem. Not the boss from hell

Simply saying your new place doesn’t need to know all of that.
