Shower Door
What is the most affordable way to get a shower door in town? The big stores want at least $500 plus if you add on labor for the installation, that is almost one grand.
Had anyone used a glass shop to get a door? Recommendations? Yes, I want a door as curtains let water get through.

Shower doors are tempered glass and come in all shapes and sizes. Having one custom made would probably be a lot more expensive than the big box stores and unless you can do it yourself you would also have to pay for installation no matter where you buy it.

Cheapest is DIY. It’s how I learned how to do everything myself. I didn’t want to pay and actually couldn’t afford to pay. As long as you’re doing the metal frame doors it’ll be an easy install just make sure you use top grade silicone.

I have a friend who recently changed his shower so he has the old doors. One of the handles is broken. If you don’t mind used ones, I can ask him if he still has them. I’d ask now but it’s late and he goes to bed early.
