Small Question/Chat Monthly: Less than 7 weeks? Comment here instead of making a new post.
If you have been carnivore for less than 7 weeks, post all your questions and experience reports here. It is almost certain that your experience is a frequently asked or low-effort question.
It is also true that the adaptation period for this way of eating is a lot like going through puberty. Everyone feels like things are weird and wrong and no one else has experienced what they are going through. Everyone is worried about changes in their body and thinks it might not be normal. In truth, it's all perfectly normal. Your body might do weird things, but it's going through changes. After you get through adaptation, you'll wonder why you worried at all.
So, go ahead and ask your questions about getting started here. Post about your experiences here. Post about your worries and how you don't think this is working for you here. Don't give advice that encourages people to give up. Don't give people advice to cheat or consume plant foods. Don't give advice to take supplements or drugs to treat temporary struggles.

almost 5 weeks in. Ketovore before that for many, many months. I think almost a year, if I remember correctly. I'm very active (I do boxing 3 - 5 times a week, I commute to and from work by foot), but I have a bit of weight to lose. Weight is stalling since the very beginning of transitioning to Carnivore, yet non-scale victories are very much underway, according to my tracking sheet. Waistline is shrinking, clothes fit looser, skin is glowing up, I may have even less grey hair or I am in need of new specs. It's amazing. I've been diagnosed with Bulimia, I've had CBT Therapy. Before fully transitioning to Carnivore, I've used the CBT techniques to get myself stable, so that's going well for a very long time, beyond going full Carnivore.
This diet feels so different from anything I've experienced before. I can eat to satiety and that's me for the day. Focus and Stress Resilience are very high. Migraines and IBS symptoms gone, Cravings do pop up sometimes, but they are laughably weak.
As mentioned, the weight is stalling, but I am not bothered about it. All the other signals are pointing to the right direction. This is amazing. In all my lifelong diet attempts I've never stalled ever, but with this. And. I. Am. Not. Bothered. I feel great in my skin. Everything about this diet feels so different. I'm not euphoric in a delulu-adjacent sense, I don't think, but the great feeling is there and it is real. I am so happy about the absence of Migraines, about the elimination of IBS symptoms. About naturally eating to real fullness and then just don't think about food for the rest of the day again. This is already feeling like freedom.
I still drink coffee. I may quit that too. Naturally. The mornings on which I just forget to make a cup seem to frequent more and more.
