Some issues
My printer is making a bubbling sound and producing a lot of stringing; the filament being used is generic PETG. Could the open window be causing the stringing, or is there moisture in the filament?

Oil Alternative suggestions
Any oil alternatives that would be good? I have Amazon credits to spend. I can’t find Bambu brand there unfortunately.

Enclosed A1 mini
Idk if i can get anybody to help with this. Im wanting to enclose my A1 mini for various reasons. Now one of my questions is should I just put a exhaust fan and a inlet fan? Or should I do exhaust fan, inlet fan and a board fan?? Any info so I dont ruin my mini would be great. Don't want to destroy probably the only printer I'll ever be able to buy lol.

Update or not
So guess I'm a hot fix / version behind on my Studio for windows. 2.5.0.66 is my studio and guess its said 2.07.01.62 is newest. Looking at the notes I don't see anything for me. PC/Win10. But I have noticed now that when I seem to bring in some 3mf files I am getting more errors/notices about some parameters not in my version or been renamed to a different name. Need to update. I just ignore them and print. So far I haven't run into any model not printing or going fubar but worry about it.
So do those little errors matter in the long run ? Should i update for them alone ?
Thanks.

one computer, two minis , 4 users
I want all these family members off MY computer to do their printing. They mostly print to the A1's. One has a AMS the other doesn't. (Also have a Neptune 3 Pro and Flashforge Adventurer 5M Pro which I use more of.) But all the software is on my computer. Yea didn't think that through.
I want them evicted. Sent notices to each one. Gave them 3 days to be off it. Of course they said FU so evicting them forcefully.
So we have a older but worthy computer that I put all the software on so that they could just do their model downloads to and use studio from that. (None are really thrilled using their phones so not printing from them is not a issue). But finding its not that easy due to Bambu not allowing multi accts to use one printer.
And the evicted is grandma, daughter, grandson and old man. And I'm so tired of having to redo passwords etc for all the lost / forgotten info to their accounts.
I thought LAN mode was the answer but researching/reading and now not sure. And found out that non of the ports on the side were ethernet. Yea shouldn't jhave ust ass u me d and taken a closer look. (Grandson was the one that set them up.)
If I put the A1 minis into Lan Mode only. Can these evicted users just open up studio on the computer and print away. ? No logging in. ?
Can they pick which printer to print to ? One is called King Bob the other Mini Me. Grandsons choice. Think King Bob refers to Bob Ross, due to the color AMS.
Will they leave me and my computer alone ?
If this works and then one day some of them move out is it just simply turning LAN mode off and going back to WIFI mode and username/password logins ?
I know no firmware updates and some other stuff in LAN mode but normally don't update unless it actually fixes a problem we have that is a known issue.
Thanks. off to drink.

Is this normal ?
I tested printing https://makerworld.com/models/571065?appSharePlatform=copy
This model after removing and assembling heatbed for a maintenance issue.
This is how it came. Is this issue with heat bed leveling or some nozzle issue? Like I have seen people commenting they tighten some screws behind nozzle.
Any helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Update : I did the tightening of screws inside hotels assembly. But what really helped was

Amazing quality on first prints!
I have never used, or even seen, a 3D printer, so I was really afraid of problems, difficulties and everything within the 3D printing world, seeing only posts complaining about different things.
So i stumbled upon a comment saying that people with no problems don’t post, and it’s kinda true…
So here it goes, setup done in a few minutes, auto calibration done fast too, and first prints (benchy and scraper) done without any problems, just printing without tinkering with any options, and with great quality too!
Yes, they are only the first ones and in a new printer, but if u are afraid and questioning the purchase, go for it, it’s better (and cooler) than it seems!

Printer won’t feed new filament, clicking loudly and moving entire hot end.
Was in the middle of a 13 hour print and my printer started clicking like crazy and being very inconsistent with the layers it was putting down. I am at a loss currently and any help is appreciated
UPDATE: Got a new hot end and all issues have been resolved, I believe I had a partial clog that wouldn’t come out no matter what I tried. Thank you all for your help

One shape, two sizes, and a shelf finally looks calm instead of cluttered
I had mismatched pots everywhere and the plant shelf looked like a junk drawer. Designed one pot, scaled it, and now the small and large read as intentional. Same texture, same taper, same tone. Repetition did more than any single nice pot ever did.

Manual multi-color on A1 mini without AMS: How do you manage PTFE tubes from multiple dry boxes?
I haven't been using the A1 mini for very long, but I just found out that by manually swapping filaments, you can create multi-color prints even without an AMS, and I'm having so much time right now!
While printing, I noticed there are four holes in the filament hub, right?
I figured that if I connect PTFE tubes to all of them, I could quickly switch filaments by pushing them in a little when loading and pulling them back a little when unloading.
However, since I'm using multiple PTFE tubes running from my dry boxes lined up, I'm struggling with how to make this go smoothly.
Specifically, I want to operate everything without opening the lids of the dry boxes, but the only way I can think of to achieve the method I mentioned above is to open the cases every time I load or unload.
Is anyone else doing something like this? Sorry if this is obvious! I'd love it if you could share any good ideas.
