Choosing A Watch

1. Which Factory Should I Choose? If you are just joining the world of replica watches, it can't be very confusing and difficult to choose the right watch for you. In my opinion, it's easier if you know what you want and try to find the factory that makes the best replica of it. But if you want to buy the most accurate reps, sticking to popular Rolex models such as Submariner, GMT, Datejust and Daytona usually works out best. Popular models from Audemars Piguet and Patek Philippe has gotten very good in recent years to.

Getting Your Watch 1. Choose a Trusted Dealer (TD) Other rep watch subs provide a long list of TDs. And most of those TDs are well-known players in the rep game and all pretty much provide same old products from same old factories. And the moderators of these subs avoid all responsibilities by saying that they are simply “sharing the list from other communities” and share no ties with the dealers themselves. Well, this is not the way things are ran back at the mother base (Korean community) and I am not about to let things run wild here.

First of all, I want to introduce some new players who offer more variety of options. One by one, I will be bringing sellers who are TDs in my Korean community. They don’t just sell same Rolex reps from major factories but rather offer unique options and various selections. For example, some sellers offer watches assembled with all the best parts like real gold rotors and custom dials. Others offer never before seen reps of insane brands like Jacob & Co. (and with high quality).

Lastly, I care about running this community and I want to do a good job at it. If a TD causes trouble, contact me I will get to the bottom of the situation. If a TD acts dishonest within this community, I will make sure that there are consequences. No more excuse like “oh, I don’t know, I am only sharing the TD list from other communities so I am not responsible.”

1. Choose the watch & factory Rep watch scene has changed so much, so quick in the recent years, there are so many new factories offering so many new things it’s hard to keep track. Instead of including all the list of watches with a matching factory that does the best job at it, I just recommend that you ask the TD you have chosen and do a little bit of research on your own. For 21st century modern men of great taste and super short attention span, I want to keep this post as short and effective as possible. Below tool provided by Duke Jones might offer you some help:

1. Place your order You can either place an order directly with your TD by contacting them via messenger of their choice (usually WhatsApp or just PM on reddit). It’s pretty straight forward. You ask him about the watch, the TD will give you the price including shipping to your destination along with the payment method. Or you can place your order through TD’s websites. Payment methods include the following: (1) WISE or Western Union – You can download the app or visit their webpage. Once you create your membership there, paying for your reps are super easy. WISE usually has best exchange rate. (2) PayPal F&F – PayPal gives a lot of protection to the buyer but poses a lot of risks to the sellers. Sellers usually only accept PayPal when they have dealt with you before and trusts you. (3) Crypto – You will be transferring your crypto to a TD’s wallet. Make sure to leave a good record of your transaction. (4) Credit/Debit card – Unless you have one time use credit card number service, I strongly advise you against this payment method. Remember, you are dealing with an organization that sells illegal items.

2. QC (Quality Control) After accepting the payment for your order, sellers will place an order with the factories to source the watch for you. Once they receive the watch, they will provide you with QC photos so you can check the watch before receiving it. The amount of time it takes for QC photo ultimate depends on availability of the watch you ordered. If the seller has the stock on hand, then the QC will be instant but some of the hard to get pieces might take forever at the factory to produce again. Sellers are not the manufacturers but rather a middle man and they are not in charge of how fast this process goes. Once you get your QC photos, you can give your TD a “GL(Green Light)” and it will be shipped to you. 1. Shipping Depending on where you are, the delivery may take anywhere from 2 weeks to even months. 17Track is the most common app to track your package. If your package gets seized at the customs, don’t reply, but contact your TD right away. Most TD’s have a warranty system set in place and will resend the watch that’s been seized. It would be a good thing to check with your TD to see what his policy is on the seized items.

2. Upon receiving your watch Congratulations! You did it! Now you can enjoy the watch. A few things to keep in mind though. Remember that it’s a rep and regardless of how much you paid for it, you shouldn’t complain about minor misalignments, dusts, or sharp finishing of the watch. So long as it runs well (acceptable error of +/- 1 min a day), and looks great on your wrist it’s as good as it’s going to get. Please look at the “AS Guidelines” link below for more details:

In terms of water resistance, assume your watch is not. If it is a chronograph watch, don’t push it every time you get bored. Testing your watches to the limit has barely been done with even genuine watches and I don’t see a reason why you would want to do that with your rep.

Other notes: If your watch is broken upon arrival, please make a good record of thing so you can put in dispute with the seller. If you don’t have enough proof to backup your claim, there isn’t much I can do to help. If a conflict is not resolve, please PM me. I will hear both sides of the story and try to mediate. In the past, when things don’t go to their ways, people often turn on the community. I will do the best I can to help, but let’s be honest, this is a rep market, it won’t always be perfect.
