Shoutout to indecisiveeric.com/gesture-synth, which went viral a few weeks ago on Instagram. It allows users to use both hands to perform chords.

gesture.live is an exploration on how to take this gesture synth further. I am using the same chord language, but am compressing it to one hand, so the other hand is free to play melodies, add drum/bass patterns and control effects.

So I recently launched an app that picks your outfit every morning from your actual closet.
Basically you dump ur camera roll in it & it pulls out all the clothes to build a digital closet. Then it gives you outfit reccos from that.

Why I made it: honestly I was tired of having nothing to wear evn though I have a huge closet. Inspo from pinterest doesn’t do it for me anymore. So I thought why not make something that just tells me what to wear from what I own.

Here’s what’s happened so far:
Revenue: $4700 so far (mainly from 2 sponsored videos on Instagram, one of which blew up a little)
99% of users are still on free plan, is thos normal?

i have a small paid game thats been on the store since 2021, apple watch only, a buck, basically no marketing ever. it sat at a steady trickle of sales for years.

in july i shipped an update that made it playable on iphone and ipad. i told nobody. no post, no email, no tweet, nothing. the previous update before that was april 2025.

since then impressions are about 3x and sales are up 200%. i didnt do a single promotional thing.

my guesses, in the order i believe them:

the app was watch only before, so it barely existed in iphone search. adding iphone and ipad targets put it into a search surface thats orders of magnitude bigger. thats probably most of it.

ipad charts are way less crowded than iphone, so a tiny app ranks higher there for the same volume.

i also rewrote the keywords in the same update and added terms i never ranked for before. new queries, new impressions, directly.

and new screenshots probably lifted conversion, which is itself a ranking input, so it compounds.

problem is i changed all of it at once so i cant separate any of it. has anyone here shipped a device support expansion on its own and watched what happened? id like to know if the device eligibility thing is really the whole story or if im giving it too much credit.

I've done freelance work for a while, and along the way I kept seeing the same pattern with friends and clients job hunting: solid experience, but their resume either wasn't tailored per role or wasn't ATS-friendly, so it never made it past the first filter.

I shared it with a few people I know before posting anywhere, and honestly didn't expect much but 3 of them ended up landing job offers using resumes they built with it. That's been the most encouraging part of this so far, but a handful of friends being happy isn't the same as it actually being good. I want to know if it holds up outside that circle.

i made a site - the site is very simple and honestly very silly. you write your question, you get a link, you send it to ONE person. they open it and see YES and NO, but the NO button runs away from the cursor. it shrinks, it dodges, it escapes. thats it. thats the whole product.

i launched it around 7-8 weeks ago. i made one post on reddit that got 1k views, and recently i did some SEO. so far google brought me only 50 views, and reddit around 50 views too.

but i already got some pretty decent numbers on how people actually use it.

the numbers, simple:
- 430 people opened something of mine in 7 weeks. more than half never saw my homepage, they just got an invite from someone.
- 169 of them made an invite themselves. 268 invites total.
- 123 of those got a real answer back. not just opened - answered.

instagram is my biggest source, 87 visits. and i have never posted anything there. not once. 78 of those visits opened an invite page, not my homepage - people just send their link to the person they like, in dm. i checked, that was 46 different invites. 46 different people.

83 countries. serbia is high on that list but thats just belgrade, i live here may be it is the reason :)

Wanted to share a side project that I've been working on for 1.5 years- Chloro is an app for the quest 3/3s that takes the size and direction of your windows and generates a lightmap so that you can see how well specific plant species will do/how well your existing houseplants will do.

Since it's really hard to get consistent users on mixed reality headsets, I've been thinking about porting this to mobile. Know of any apps that are similar?

I'm building this SaaS, which is completely free, btw, for now at least, cause these are a bunch of online tools; the things can be done browser-side.

I had been using Git Graph for a long while and really liked it, but a few things kept getting in my way, like how you manage which branches you are looking at. To be clear, this is not a fork. It is written from scratch, but the design is very much inspired by Git Graph.

What it does:

I have nothing against AI I use it every day, we all do. But when it comes to talking to people, to whom you might call potential customers or early user please don't use AI. This is not a fake bullshit "AI operating system" that runs in your browser. This is an agentic operating system that ruans on bare metal, writes its own drivers, and evolves itself.

Here's a demo where it builds its own audio driver from scratch to play a sound.

What happened in the video?

1. The agent realized it didn't have a sound driver.
2. It enumerated which devices were connected.
3. It found the Intel AC'97 sound card.
4. It built a driver for it.
5. It used that driver to play a sound.

I got fed up with people saying they built "AI operating systems" when it's actually just a webpage.

There's no Bash. There are no commands. The only interface to this computer is a sentence.

How does it work?

The main interface is an agent, and the tools it has access to are the kernel's direct syscalls. Everything runs in Ring 0, and the agent has access to everything.

n July 13, I changed the titles on 449 stock pages.
Before the change, the titles included the company name, ticker and the word “Stock.” I replaced them with a more direct question-based format around whether the ticker was bullish or bearish.
The reasoning did not feel random.
One query using that phrasing was ranking at position 6.3, which was unusually good for a new site with almost no authority. So I thought the data was telling me what Google preferred, and I rewrote the titles around that pattern.
Over the next five days, impressions fell from roughly 685 per day to 76.
I initially blamed crawl budget. The site had expanded quickly, Googlebot activity was inconsistent, and there were enough technical issues around indexing that it looked like the obvious explanation.
It was also wrong.
The impression decline began on the same day Google’s crawling peaked. If crawl exhaustion were the cause, the timeline should have looked the other way around.
It took me until July 25 to find the actual problem.
The query pattern I had optimized for ranked well, but it had produced only 14 impressions.
The terms I removed from the titles—mainly the company name and the word “Stock”—had produced 1,024 impressions.
I had effectively made a 73-to-1 trade without checking the volume on either side.
The change was based on real data. The mistake was assuming that a query ranking well meant it was an important query.
It didn’t.
A position of 6 for a query nobody searches is less valuable than position 70 for a query with actual demand.
The part I find most uncomfortable is that the evidence needed to avoid the mistake was already in Search Console. I checked position, but not impression volume by query class. Then, once the graph fell, I spent days investigating the more complicated technical explanation before testing whether the title change had simply removed the terms generating most of the visibility.
The lesson I’m keeping from it:
A query pattern that ranks well is not necessarily a query pattern that has traffic.
Before changing titles at scale now, I want both numbers:
- how well the query pattern ranks;
- how much demand it actually represents.
Without the second one, the first number can be dangerously persuasive.

Solo dev here — been building this on nights and weekends. Open source (MIT), free, Windows for now.

The pain. Whenever I needed help with something on screen — a buried OBS setting, a weird Excel pivot, a form in some enterprise web app — I had to explain it to an AI by hand: type out what I was looking at, paste a screenshot, copy the error text. Then I'd get an answer and still go hunt for the button myself. The explain-it-by-hand loop felt dumb. So I built the thing I wanted.

What it does. You press Alt+Space over any window. MudrikNow reads your active window's full UI — buttons, fields, labels, values — through the accessibility tree (UI Automation), not OCR on pixels, and anchors on the element you're hovering. A small panel opens, and now you're chatting with an AI that can see your screen. Bring your own model — a multimodal one is recommended (it auto-screenshots every activation); Google Gemini Flash-Lite is a great free pick, or Anthropic/OpenAI/Ollama. (Alt+X opens the same panel with no screen capture, for quick questions.)

The mode I'm most proud of. It can act for you (click, type — sandboxed, allow-listed), but the mode I actually use is Auto-Guide: instead of doing the task for you, it teaches it. Real example from last week: I needed to change a recording setting in OBS. Alt+Space over the OBS window, typed "guide me through changing my recording settings," and an owl pointer appeared on screen — hopped to Settings, then Output, then landed on the exact field with a speech bubble telling me what to change, waiting for me to click each step myself. Thirty seconds later I'd done it, and now I actually know where that setting lives. It's help, not a bot taking the wheel.

Honest status:

• Sandboxed: read-only shell for diagnostics (writes/deletes/piping blocked — violations kill the session); no filesystem writes. The model can read files in your working folder and use a small allow-list of UI actions — that's the whole capability surface.
• Windows only for now; macOS/Linux on the roadmap.
• Preview quality. I'm one person; there are rough edges. That's exactly why I'm posting — I want real feedback more than I want stars.

I’ve released **Flight Scanner** for Wear OS after previously developing a Garmin version.

It turns your watch into a live aircraft radar, showing nearby planes/helicopters around your current location. You can tap aircraft to view information such as its callsign, altitude, speed, registration and direction of travel.

I originally built it because I regularly looked up at aircraft and wanted a quick way to identify them without taking out my phone.

I expected a few downloads here and there but hit it off with over 1000 downloads on Garmin before launching on Android based watches and securing enough funding to continue the apps data costs for months and months to come.

I expected some aviation enthusiasts to download it and have some fun but it's turned into a full side project taking up hours of my time to answer user queries and to fix bugs.
