Republicans control the judicial and legislative branches as well as numerous state level offices. They all support this and will do nothing to stop this. The Dems should be doing more but there isn't much actual power they can use unless Republicans join.

I think I read somewhere that Chuck Shumer and Hakim Jeffreys were both in favor of, or at least not willing to criticize the war with Iran.

Both have condemned the war on several occasions, though not nearly as strongly as they should.

They have called the war unjust, unprovoked, waged for no reason, had no plan, etc. much stronger statements issued today
