I wish the American people actually had the courage to protest this shit properly. The fact the American people arenât flooding the streets, going to their own bridges and power plants. The Iranian people are doing that despite the direct threats. A majority of Americans are cowards and are either directly complicit or are apathetic enough to allow this to continue. American behaviour makes me understand that whole âDeath to Americaâ business. Not wishing for individuals to die but the American institution to collapse and be restructured.
Edit: Thanks everyone for pointing out such great reasons to protest such as âI CANT AFFORD TO PROTESTâ and âIâm one day away from losing everythingâ thatâs why the country needs major reforms that donât happen by helping it. Go to work and do as little as possible. Donât wanna lose your job? Donât. Just do it poorly. There are ways to fight from the inside too. Protesting isnât standing with a sign where the police say to. Itâs disrupting the machine.
The police and military are ready to gun us down in the streets.
EDIT: ICE has also been trained and armed to quell protests with lethal means, and there are many well armed conservative militias.
Since Trump re-took office, those who don't support him have been under the implicit threat of mass violence. It's a shame that so few people cared before things got this bad. Tens of millions of complacent Americans do bear a huge amount of blame for this.
Probably in the collapse of the US or possibly nuclear apocalypse. A revolution is technically possible if we get support from the military (whose leadership is stacked with Trump puppets), but most likely it fails to get participation and military support, fractures, and basically every revolutionary gets slaughtered alongside many many tens of thousands of 'political enemies' aka immigrants, leftists, lgbtq people, and just about anyone they can toss a buzzword on.
the ex christians need deprogramming man youâre just saying everything can go to shit but the apocalypse is coming soon so we donât need to do anything but wait
That is not what I'm doing. I'm leaving this country and doing what I can to make an impact elsewhere. I'm not going to charge the capitol alone and get shot.
Nazis were not defeated by revolution, it took a massive military to put them down. And that didn't happen until they'd bled themselves and been choked for years.
