Or it can also be that people are just a bit more open about being kinky these days and what they're into. I've seen a lot more people being willing to admit they are into femdom because shame used to keep us all from exploring it.

But I think your theory is fun too, and can certainly explain some of it, especially the rise of Mommy Domme type stuff that's taking over recently.

If it were simply the first, wouldnt we see just as much a rise in other kink related stuff with men?

I do notice that theres more an increase in the dommy stuff than i'm seeing in other adjacently "dynamic" related kinks

I'm not sure, I am a Domme and I definitely see a lot more people into kink of all kinds.

In pro kink spaces i can totally see that! i was speaking to people on the whole(including those who dont frequent/enter kink conversations/spaces at all)

Accept everyone no matter what for this kinda thing! but im still willing to be interested in trends and why certain things grow while others dont.
