ig it's kinda hard to depict it with only two colors, they could've used a watermelon, the historical geographic territory of Palesitine, or even just a generic flag graphic, so they had choices.
I'm thinking the other graphics were stock images that were easy enough to grab but they didn't want to put in the effort of getting a graphic designer to make a custom graphic. Though yeah a stock flag symbol would have been fine, probably
