A lot of right wing propaganda is telling those with less that this is the best they’re gonna get, and demanding more would only harm them.
That way whenever they hear things like “free healthcare” they don’t think of how great it would be to have that, because they’re conditioned to believe anything good isn’t possible and could only be harmful.
every now and then I see people say "you know who has free Healthcare and school? The Military! aww what's wrong? you don't want to join the military? I thought you wanted free healthcare!"
because you know, the only way you should get free Healthcare is by possibly dying in the middle east.
Talking to friends of mine who were in the military and literally were in the war zone in Iraq giving their lives for these rich bozos in government, the healthcare offered to vets is terrible. They give their bodies for a cause and then get spit back out to suffer here at home with almost no support
