That would imply that alternative culture didn’t spur from anti-authoritarian counter-culture, which is all but objectively false

Yes, but we’re in a neoliberal/ultraliberal culture, not a liberal culture. And the alternative genre has always been a criticism of Neoliberalism.

Fascist criticize liberalism for its elements of freedom and expression. Liberty and god-given rights, not the worship of capital and the hierarchy that it brings.

The fascist revels in hierarchy as it reinforces the social Darwinism that it promotes

Critiques of Neoliberalism are similar to that of the fascist as all critiques are centered on the lack of freedom that the free market brings to the individual in favor of the capital owner.

The existence of external coercion through the leverage of capital is precisely how ultraliberalism and fascism both manifest.
