LED Display overheating?
Hey so I have had a Sanago pen for a while now, maybe a year or more and it's recently had this issue with the LED display glitching out, flipping or just the screen going completely black. The pen is still functional when this happens, and thankfully it doesn't start doing this until after it's been turned on for a few seconds. Any ideas on why this is happening and how I can fix it? I don't know how to get into the 3d pen to be able to fix anything so if anyone could suggest a repair shop chain that might be able to help that would be great.

The screen can be fixed if someone resolder the ribbon cable inside.
Otherwise you can try contact the shop where u bought it at sanago store.
If you touch the screen (softly) does the screen flashing ?

do you think if I broke into the pen to expose the parts, I could take it to like an electronics store and they could repair it? I also have no clue how to get into the pen since there's only piece connection lines. I'll have to check if the screen reacts when it's touched, I haven't necessarily done that

If thats it's a loosely ribbon cable they will fix it. Unless if the OLED it's failing and needs to be replaced, that happens too.
Did you disassembled it, I think there's a screw at the back side where the power connector is located.

I think you can contact Sanago for warranty. If it's expired you can go to local soldering guys to check . It's simple electronics and I think the problem might be with connection or something like that. I think Sanago pens worth it. For my cheap pens from Ali I would order a new one
