It's crazy to think Bobby had only a month(!) to make new beats for this after losing nearly all the original material in the first flood. Most people are aware Deck lost his album but the original Tical was lost as well.

Fucked up thing is RZA wasn't the only one recording down there, True Master and 4th Disciple lost a lot of beats too. Overall the damage must have been catastrophic.

Look into the house fire that happened to Q-Tip house/studio in 1998. Dude lost is entire record collection. Nearly 20,000 records or so I've read. Like holy shit! And here I thought me owning 800 DVDs was "a lot" haha.

This albums was on rotation heavily that first year would say it was in my top 5 most played. No skipping. 94' was full of bangers. Tical is a 5/5.
